At Chesaning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we offer a wide variety of care that is individualized to each patient. We also offer long-term care placement, respite care, hospice care, trach care, medication management, dialysis transport, and assistance with activities of daily living.

I think chesanging Nursing home needs to pay attention to there patients more an check on them more. My dad name is Edward Ortega he fell yesterday morning at 1aman had to get stitches in his head. Please pay more attention to my dad . He had fell enough. Already.. he doesn't need no more accidents. Or any more broken hips either or he doesn't need to reopen anything on his head like fell or have to get stitches again .

Any of the recent 5 star reviews that you see are from employees that have been promised a $10 Amazon gift card. That should tell you about the place if they are trying to up the star rating by bribing their employees with gift cards! Shame on you guys!
To the “Owner “ you have made very few changes in policy or procedures. Get on the floor and listen to your staff. Actually address the issues at hand! Your staff are talking elsewhere. Families with a love one there should be concerned!

I have been working at Chesaning Nursing & Rehab for a little over two months. The staff have been so welcoming and made my transition of leaving my former facility of 10 years so much easier! I am so impressed with the hard work, dedication, and love the staff have for the patients! This small town facility is definitely a great place to work and anyone who places their loved one there would not be disappointed!

I was diagnosed with arthritis in my legs after suffering from pneumonia and a pulmonary embolism. I spent 3 days on the hospital then was taken to Chesaning rehab. From the start they took great care of me and looked after and checked up on me. When I needed help they came. And if I was upset they listened. I was able to leave a few days before my daughters birthday and they helped me to get me where I needed to be to do so. I am grateful for all that helped me, and worked with my family by keeping them informed of my progress there.

I am proud to say I worked at Chesaning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as the Director of Nursing for 9 months. I needed to make a career change because the drive was terrible to this cute little town of Chesaning from Bay City. The compassion and loving staff is remarkable. These times have been very difficult for all of us in long term care and rehab including families, residents and staff. Be assured your loved ones are well care for. The staff know every and all care needs for your loved ones and attend to them in a timely manner with love and compassion. Laughter is always heard throughout

I recently relocated to Michigan and applied to Chesaning Nursing. From the start I loved the DON who interviewed me and from there on the rest of the staff won me over. This team works hard and looks for areas for improvement so we can give the best care possible. I appreciate the experiences I am sharing with my colleagues and would like to give a huge shout out for those who helped make my journey here a little bit more successful (especially Shelley!) I appreciate the patients here and their families who have entrusted us with their care!

Thank you all for your responses, we value everyone's responses, I am the new Administrator of Chesaning Nursing and Rehab Center and we welcome all of your feedback about the care we provide. We are working very hard during this time, especially with the new restrictions with Covid, to ensure our residents are well cared for and feel valued and loved as they have not been able to see their loved ones in quite some time. This facility has that small home town feeling and we relish the community involvement that happens daily with donations, cards and letters. We are encouraging our staff to share
