This is a great firm. We first went in to see if we could file for bankruptcy, but after meeting with Michael Doan, he told us that our annual wages were above the median income and therefor could not file. However, he handed us over to Attorney Karen Spicker who deals with debt settlement. So we met with her and decided to move forward. I'm really glad we did! We have been working with Atty Karen Spicker since Jan 2018 to settle some of credit card debt and have had a great experience. Communication is important and Karen responds to emails and voice mails promptly. She answers my questions

Doan Law Firm has been a god send to my family. We found them via google when we were about to loose our cars and had hit rock bottom. We were able to meet with josh the very next evening and spent about a good two hours at the office looking over everything. We decided This was the correct thing to do. They were understanding about the payments and how sometimes it took us forever to make a payment just due to life and so much more. I read good reviews for Doans Law. That is why I hired their firm in the first place.I wish I never used this firm. Every interaction with the firm was through email. How unprofessional!
I had an issue with their Paralegal and cancelled my account.
Turns out, in order to start with the firm again, it was only a few days, and I received an email stating to start my case again they were charging me $200.
I never spoke to any of the attorneys or paralegals, accept for one day when the paralegal called me. He was out of line so I cancelled.
Bottom line, I walked away with no bankruptcy being filed

I was so nervous about the choice to file for bankruptcy, but due to recent circumstances it was something I had to seriously consider. Doan was extremely helpful in answering any concerns as well as making me feel comfortable with such a difficult choice. His office is always available to answer questions and able to get me appointments quickly when needed. In addition to helping file for bankruptcy, their firm offers ways to raise your credit score after filing. They are so helpful every step of the way and I am so glad I found them.

So happy to be done with this! Chris was AWESOME! They worked with me financially. It took me forever to get prepared. This was so bad for me. The anxiety & stress getting my paper work together.

I chose Doan Law Firm for my bankruptcy. I was overwhelmed and stressed out because my debt was out of control. They set up an affordable payment plan for their retainer and did a great job of breaking down the cost of the bankruptcy and what to expect through the process. I really liked the convenience of taking both my bankruptcy classes online. I am a disabled person, so anytime I can save travel time, I am very happy! The only small kink was when Chris said I needed to hire a bankruptcy appraiser to do a full appraisal on my house, which was pretty expensive to me at a time I was really pinched

I was under the impression that Doan Law Firm helped with bankruptcy, collection abuses, credit repair, etc. I guess I was wrong. I was told pretty fast that bankruptcy was their main area of expertise. To be fair, I was told that I shouldn't be considering bankruptcy (I wasn't, but it's nice to get a honest opinion...). I was also given a referral (more on that later).
My impression: Decent and honest (however, my problem did not get solved). That's why I am going for "A-OK."

I was totally warned to stay away from this place but I prefer to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Well, they lived up to their reputation. I was going to declare bankruptcy but then changed my mind. They refused to refund my deposits claiming that it was used to compensate for paperwork. Paperwork mind you that I completed my self. Stay away from this place. I repeat stay away from this place.

I needed help getting a 30 days late removed from my credit report. I had paid the payment on time, but somehow the check was lost by the lender and they reported it 30 days late. Since I have perfect credit this was very upsetting and detrimental to my credit score. I contacted Doan Law Firm and Karen S. Spicker took over my case. She was very professional and responsive to all my questions and concerns. She was persistent and did not give up when the lender said no the first time. She kept after them and was able to get the 30 days removed and my credit has returned to its original excellent

This is just a follow-up on the letter that I wrote below back in March 2012. I want to say again how professional all of you are and thank you for treating my wife and I with such respect and caring as we went through the BR process. We received our discharge notice today and are now free from debt and able to breathe again thanks to the good folks at Doan. I read a review written by some yo-yo named "Bobby B" and I must say that his review was spitfull and vendictive and especially unfair to Tim Jackson who works at the law firm. I recently attended a meeting at Doan Law Firm and it was a horrible experience. The person I met with, did not introduce himself upon arrival, would ask me questions and then cut me off while I tried to answer them, did not ask me about my situation, just took my paperwork and told me that I had a lot of debt which I already knew. He kept repeating that my financial situation was a tight one, as if he was giving me information I did not know. Not once did he make me feel welcome or was he helpful. He clearly just wanted to move me in and out of there and hope that I would pay them for my case
