We carry a selection of both traditional and contemporary pieces, as well as a beautiful line of hand fabricated designs in gold and silver by designer Dean Young and items from other jewelers. Owners Dean and Sandy Young opened their West Linn location in 2011. Dean Young is a certified goldsmith with over 25 years experience. After attending London's John Cass College in jewelry design, he undertook a 3 year apprentice training in London's jewelry district, Hatton Garden, where he was taught the art of hand fabrication by some of the best goldsmiths in England.

My husband and I went to Dean to make a ring for myself for our 30th wedding anniversary. I explained what I was looking for and he came back to me with a few options that met my criteria . We chose one and got started . Dean communicated with us the entire process to let us know when the ring should be completed. The ring is absolutely beautiful! Dean was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommended Young's jewelers.

I really like supporting local, small businesses. I've purchased several pieces of jewelry from Young's. I like the selection, but the customer service is very cold. It absolutely does not feel like I'm purchasing from a "local" business. The owner is not overly friendly and doesn't take the time to get to know his customers.

Locally owned family business that's apart of our community for awhile now. You will often the owner behind his work bench which sits behind the main counter near the back of the store. The owner or one of the staff are quick to wait on you. Fast turn around times. The prices reflect the quality of the work which in this case you want the best. I have taken four watches in to be repaired. There were repaired in one afternoon and the other the owner stated wasn't worth the investment to have repaired. He stated he could if I wanted but he didn't advise it. I appreciated his honesty as he was missing

L left my heirloom men's wedding ring to be sized larger and my wife's wedding ring to have the lavender jade stone polished. We picked them up Saturday and they were AWESOME !!!!!!!!.
My wife's lavender jade looked like it did when it was new and my ring has NEVER looked better and the fit is perfect.

Dean and his wife are amazing. They sourced and put together a custom ring for us in rose gold and Morganite several years ago. It was a great value and a high quality piece. Recently one of the small diamonds fell out and Dean provided a repair and cleaned the piece as well as repair an antique bracelet that was a family heirloom. The quality of workmanship, timeliness and pricing is amazing. I would recommend Young's to anyone for quality jewelry and repairs.

Young Jewelers is a very personal and professional establishment with a unique variety of outstanding pieces; was introduced to Dean by my ophthalmologist for an eye glass repair, which was addressed exquisitely, and discovered my new go-to shop for fine jewelry. Dean and Sandy are a great team. They bring some sophistication to West Linn. Dean is a well trained jeweler and designer. If you can imagine it, he can make it happen.
Dean has made so many pieces for me and has an eye for detail. We have had some very difficult pieces that needed his expertise, he is set-up to bring happiness to whomever received his hand-made pieces. I am so happy to have in in my corner as not only a jeweler, but also on advice on pieces that I have imagined, and he has created.

I recently brought my wife's wedding ring in for repair. Mr. Young confidently informed me how and what he needed to perform the repair and assured me it would be done next day. I had taken the ring to a few other places that wanted to hold onto it for a week or more. When I picked up the ring it was perfect. The setting was better than before and he polished the diamond beautifully. I couldn't be happier. I will be back.

I love this place and the owners! Dean is a master jeweler and so creative. I have brought in bits and pieces of old jewelery and he has turned them into heirlooms that I will want to pass on to my children and grandchildren! They are very reasonable, too. If you want classic styling which is what I usually prefer, he's great at reproduction of pieces I've seen and liked over the years. If you are more into the unique, he can do that as well. Recently, I was looking for a particular white gold necklace. He took the time to find the exact one I wanted. It was perfect! This is my go to

Dean and his wife are lovely people. Dean's work is amazing. He does some beautiful custom pieces that you can see on display and will do whatever you want. I worked with him to design a pendant for a large black Tahitian pearl I had. He reset an emerald ring with new prongs after polishing the emerald to make it shine again. He is also going to make a pave heart pendant for me with some small diamonds I removed from a ring. Their jewelry and his work is very reasonable, too. I needed one project rather quickly as it was a gift and he had it done for me ahead of schedule. I would trust them with

All I can say is outstanding in every way! I have shopped and bought from numerous jewelry stores in the mid to high end range over the years and none has been as good across all areas from quality to customer service. It's hard to believe that we have a jewelry store of this quality in West Linn. The designs are all created by the owners and are original and exquisite, with prices that won't break the bank. They also do jewelry and watch repair. For those who live in the suburbs of Portland, you no longer have to go into Portland to get a special piece of jewelry. Try this shop first. Young's is located near Safeway on Salamo.
