Antoinette is a pleasure to work with and shares a level of knowledge and passion seldom found in jewelry stores. The greatest challenge a customer faces is deciding which piece to buy, as Antoinette has carefully curated a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces. Don't be put off by the potential need to make an appointment; she takes her time to get to know you and help you find something you will truly treasure.

We absolutely love Antoinette and her shop. She is so knowledgeable and really took the time to explain everything to us. We really wanted to make sure we were buying the most environmentally and socially responsible engagement ring possible so buying a vintage/antique ring was perfect for us. I was a first-time customer at Antoinette's recently, and had a fantastic experience. Both Antoinette and Rachel were very helpful, they provided excellent guidance during a couple visits until we eventually found the perfect ring. I also really appreciated how much I learned about the art deco style and the history behind the jewelry. I'll certainly be a customer again in the future and will recommend Antoinette's to friends and family.

We had a bit of an odd experience looking for an engagement ring here. The two women who helped us were very knowledgeable and friendly and showed us tons of rings, but a few strange things happened. First of all we arrived a few minutes after their posted opening time but they hadn't finished putting the rings in the cases yet so we had to wait outside for a few minutes. No big deal, they were apologetic. Once we got in and I started describing what I was looking for I was instantly corrected saying that I was referencing the wrong period. I know these ladies are experts and I'm sure I was off

Don't waste your time with the other "popular" vintage jewelry stores in Portland. This store has the best selection, their prices are unbeatable and the quality surpasses!

My fiance and I went to Antoinette Antique and Estate Jewelry after reading positive reviews, and our experience was similar; Antoinette is kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She handled multiple sets of customers with ease during the hour we were in her store, and obviously enjoys what she is doing. Everything she showed me was in line with what I was looking for, within our price range, and she was able to tell me a little bit about each one. I love the ring I bought and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

I've been a customer of Antoinette's for several years. I've been there when it's busy and when it's slow.
Antoinette gives equal attention to everyone who is in the shop. I read the review from "me" who walked out and I understand that feeling of impatience. But, if she had just waited a bit longer she would have had an excellent experience. Although Antoinette has an able assistant, it really is her place and she makes all the final decisions. She is well worth waiting for. It's not a fast-food restaurant experience.
