I am super disappointed I thought I would have a great “field experience” interviewed and everything with an individual name Rabia at the Detroit location, unfortunately there must have been a change of plans, because I never received a personal phone call or e-Mail stating any changes, after I was told I could do my field at IAMERICA…..
It put me in a challenging situation having to wait 7 months. I just wish this information would have been thoroughly communicated. I’m sure the services are good, but this was not a good example of professionalism. Good thing I was able to receive guidance

I don’t recommend this place at all. I had an appointment scheduled Tuesday at 4:05. Never got any info on the appointment. When I called the office the women there were very rude. Laughed and told me that I needed to wait and that the therapist would eventually call me. After waiting 20 minutes I called the office and cancelled my appointment. What’s the point of making an appointment if it isn’t going to be respected. Additionally, got a call the next day asking me for insurance information after I’d specially told them I had no interest in continuing services with them. Very unprofessional

Love my doctor and everyone in the office. I was an addict for 20 years never even once anyone told me "it be okay, you are not alone". You worked with my insurance, my old stupid doctors in Dearborn and my anger. Thank you for enforcing the boundaries, only God know how much I need it. I always know you will make sure I make the right decision.

I first learned about iAMERICA through the from cooking classes they offer then learned about free food program and it amazed me how much they care about the children and families in the neighborhoods they are in. I thought this is all the do until I looked them up. OMG, I could not believe I did not know about their medical, substance abuse and mental health. I signed up for all.
Shout out: I love iAMERICA
Thank you for caring... you got my business, my family and friends and everyone as long I shall live

Just started going here and i love it already! I've been suffering from ptsd, biopolor depression and social anxiety for years and have been to therapist and psychiatrist all over the city and not once felt like they empathized yet alone sympathized with me until i went here! They really listen and they really try to help you! Mental illness is more than a Dr getting a check... Its suppose to be some compassion in the work and they have it here!
