What is Acne? Acne is an inherited disorder of the pores causing dead skin cells to shed much faster than normal. Normal pores shed about one layer of dead skin cells per day inside the pore. The acne-prone pore sheds up to five layers of dead skin cells per day creating a plug. This plug is called a microcomedone, the beginning of all acne.
Allison Lee is a licensed esthetician based in Michigan, who specializes in clearing acne and pigmentation correction. Her own battles with skin care are what brought her to pursue a career as an esthetician, and she has a passion for helping her patients solve their skin problems with gentle, all natural remedies.
24 hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments. Same day cancellation and reschedule will result in a 50% charge. If a same day cancellation happens more than once, you will not be able to schedule appointments unless you pay the full service amount first. No Show's will not be able to schedule and will be banned from future bookings.

I received my first ever Brazilian wax from Allison. I was scared out of my mind and had no idea what to expect. I just knew that I had heard so many great things about waxing and was completely over shaving, so I had to try something new. When I arrived, I was immediately won over by the cleanliness of her treatment room. She was organized, clean, gentle and so professional. She immediately asked me how I was feeling and if I was nervous and when I admitted that I was, she told me to “just relax” and she would walk me through it.
