Sunset has taken care of our property while we live out of state without issue for several years now. They've spearheaded the work needed to become a rental as well as handle tenant changes and their day to day phone calls. Team Sunset handles it all and I need not worry about plumbers, dry wall or lease forms. They make use of a web portal for work orders and accounting making it easy to review my state of affairs.

Update from my last review. Since I wrote that review all problems in the home have been fixed. Although I was extremely upset with how everything played out initially since all issues have been fixed really love my home and the area. They brought in a brand new washing machine, brand new toilet, handled the issues with the lease, fixed the outlets, added the door handle, have hot water all in a timely manner. Most of the issues and my frustrations with the company were communication-related, but since then communication has been pretty great and I haven't had to really reach out to them since

Critical: Professionalism
I was told that I was first in line for one of their properties after being the first to apply and get approved. I didn’t even get a chance to view the property before I was told they took someone else money. I can’t believe they would do something like that especially with it being so hard to find a place to live these days. Beware.

Recently changed to Sunset as property manager for my 3-unit rental property in North Park and wish I had done it years ago. The professionalism, efficiency and responsiveness is excellent. Sunset managed a rental condo unit that I owned and then acted as my realtor when I sold it recently. They are incredibly experienced and knowledgeable about their business. I was always charged fairly for any work that they did in my condo and I thought they gave me excellent advice for years. I also have found them to be truly honest in our conversations about how to value the condo and what I needed to do to sell it and manage it. I give Sunset my highest possible recommendation.
