Summary: This is a generally nice place to live, especially when compared to other apartments in the area.
Pros: Central A/C and heating, fireplace, upgraded interiors, generous cabinet space and storage areas, friendly staff, excellent maintenance guys, not too expensive for this area, pet friendly, designated parking space, on site laundry, pools w/hot tub, grills, exercise room, car wash area, well maintained landscaping, generally friendly neighbors, good location, relatively safe, super fast EMS response times.
Cons: 1) Extra parking can be difficult to find. 2) The parking lot gates work

This place is beautiful, it's got a great surrounding area, the people are cool. There's even a dog park down the street. The maintenance team are friendly and get jobs done quickly.
But when it comes to management, and honoring their agreements, professionalism, and basic social courtesy- be wary.
Also, cons of this complex:
no guest parking!! They/you have to find parking in the street.
it's noisy! the walls are thin I can hear my neighbors conversations word for word. The insulation is inadequate, so that means if you live downstairs you're going to hear EVERYTHING your upstairs neighbor

They have a problem with guys with motorcycles i got a 3 day notice for having 2 motorcycle 🏍 in my carport which is ridiculous aswell as just recently they gave me a 30 notice to move for reasons unknown... they said just too many things in a short time we have lived here... and to be honest I can o my think that maybe they don't like my bicycle back wheel clicking
.. or maybe my coworker coming to get me for work.. thats "to much traffic" but it will be fine.. I'll let the guy upstairs deal with them... I really liked it here to bad the management has no life and wants to nit pick everyone

All the staff, including maintenance and the employees in the management office are friendly and professional. Yes, there is the occasional bad neighbor or neighbor who seems to not like you for no apparent reason, but that is all depended on the individual itself. Casa Monterrey has regular maintenance done on the property and is kept in excellent condition. The natural sunlight, if your unit is positioned in the right direction of the sun, is amazing and priceless. Every major store is within a mile or two, Walmart, Home Depot, Costco you name it. A lot of places to eat nearby if you are a foodie

DO NOT MOVE HERE. My lease is up in March, and that can’t come soon enough! In fact this place is so disgusting and filled with low quality people that I most likely will break the lease sooner. Not only have I been struggling with a neighbor who blast their tv and music so loud my entire apartment vibrates, but I have gone to the leasing office about this numerous times letting them know it’s not a livable situation, and they have done next to nothing about it. So in my life I choose to rent and I have lived all over but if it's anything that could possibly happen or go wrong it is happened here at Casa Monterrey. Anything from burglary to packages being stolen to vandalism an apartment with issues and problems. Don't get me wrong day one will sell you but after that you wonder where your money goes and everything else is a headache. As of the date that I post this I have seen more people move out then move in and the stories told is this used to be a great place to live. So do your homework ask questions and get everything in writing.

I was there for 2 years in same house... but i see Bad Management.. Repair request wont be taken seriously and if you need any information ...you ask they will give you only after 10 days. Management is always feel they are correct every though their mistake is there. Once you sign the lease you will be gone they make sure you pay all the Money . They scare you even they try to force you to pay all money.They wont maintain the records correctly . They wont send you lease renewal notice be care full they auto renewal with out your notice. They are there for taking money not for good service. All
