About the Practice Report

Dr. Tim Belnap earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Brigham Young University (BYU). In 1985, Dr. Belnap graduated from Emory University, School of Dentistry. He spent three years in the Navy and has now been serving in the Rancho Penasquitos and Ramona, California, area for 27 years. Dr. Belnap's goal is to provide gentle, quality care, with the help of our great team, to all of our patients.

I had never been at this location before (I don't have a regular dentist at present), but was recommended by my daughter. On short notice, I was able to make an urgent appt to have a broken tooth extracted. These folks were AWESOME! Dr. Belknap did the job immediately, and I was back home in an hour. The charges (I don't have dental insurance) were also very reasonable.

I was told by my daighter I need to clean up my reviews. So here it goes

I was working in the are and stopped in for some dental repair.

The staff here really friendly the place clean. The dental care I felt rushed and not what I wanted.

All in all I'll stick with my dentist.

I had a checkup today at PQ Family Dental. As always it was a wonderful experience. Dr. Jergensen and Dr. Belnap are wonderful. They are very attentive, kind, and caring. PQ Family Dental is a beautiful practice with all of the newest dental technology available to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Dr Jergensen is great about showing you exactly what he will be doing, and explaining in detail what about any procedures that need to take place. I love that he uses the different technology to show you exactly whats going on.

However, the real rockstars of the practice are the front office

I live in the neighborhood, currently looking for another dentist and walked in to ask if they take my PPO insurance. One of the front desk ladies ( not familiar with insurances was trying to help) the other one was busy helping a patient.. so finally she kind of glanced to see my card and said " I mean we do have people with that insurance .. hmm but not really .. hmmm if we do take it it covers 90% only " then she looked away back to the patient.. the other lady offered to give me a business card and I said no thank you. I don't know if the main receptionist didn't like me

Dr. Belnap has been my dentist for over 20-years as well as Julie, my Hygienist. They along with the rest of the staff, are fantastic. I relocated to the Coachella Valley 15-years ago but I continued to come to San Diego twice a year for my dental needs. They are that good!

My dentist is Dr. Belnap. He is awesome!

Another dentist tried to rip me off and said I needed about $10,000 worth of dental work done. My mother (who absolutely loves DR. Jergensen) told me about this office so I made an appointment. I got an appointment with Dr. Belnap. He squashed almost everything the other dentist said. He worked with me on a plan to get my dental work done. I no longer have fear or anxiety about going to the dentist.

The entire staff is amazing. They just moved into a beautiful brand new office that has state of the art equipment.

I would give them more than 5 stars

Been seeing these Doctors and Hygienists since 2006. Great work, ZERO PAIN and super friendly staff. And they can "text" you reminders for your appointments!
