We offer comprehensive consultations and evaluations for all gastroenterology related diseases and problems. Dr. James Maher is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist in Katy Texas.
Dr Maher attended the University of Michigan. Seeking warmer climate, he then attended the Medical College of Virginia, and graduated in the accelerated program. Having gone to school in California, he returned and did Internal Medicine residency at the University of California-Irvine. The following year, he completed a one year Fellowship in Hepatology at the University of Southern California.

Services
We welcome cash, check and most major credit cards as payments. However, to offset bookkeeping expenses, office must assess a fee for each "insufficient funds" check returned to us. An account is considered to be "delinquent" after 30 days. If you receive a final notice from us, you must pay your balance in-full.
Our office is a full-service gastroenterology clinic. The list of treatments we offer and the conditions we deal with is comprehensive. From your consultation to evaluation and treatments, we have you covered in all gastroenterology problems and diseases. Our team does everything from endoscopies to colonoscopies.

I was a long drive and I was running really late….
I called to let them know, and when I arrived and walked in to Dr. James Maher’s office I still had wonderful, very thoughtful, polite, professional service! Dr. Maher is very kind, knowledgeable and an expert in his field! And his entire Staff is just great! Maggie explained very clearly what I needed to know for my upcoming surgery! Overall it was an enjoyable positive experience! I also really appreciated the Office Staff’s flexibility and understanding in keeping my appointment for me! Thanks so much! Great job!

I have been with Dr. Maher since 2016. When I came to him I was extremely ill and didn’t know exactly what I had until my diagnosis. He has walked me through this and has been amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his field. He has seen me through several colonoscopies and hospitalizations.
