Children have an innate ability to work through their challenges with play. Play is their primary language and is the natural way they "talk" about what they are struggling with. It is also through play that they are able to work towards solutions. With reflection and guidance in play therapy, major shifts can occur in behavior issues and emotional expression.
A child can move through feeling out of control to feeling a greater sense of empowerment and ability to handle the challenges of life. My work is predominantly a child-centered approach, with some directive work when needed, usingSynergetic Play Therapy (SPT) as my primary model.

Services
The core of my work is a heart-centered and creative approach, in which I allow each session or group to take shape according to the needs arising in the moment. Practicing from a non-judgmental and loving place, I create a safe and healing space for and with my clients.
I started my studies in Psychology at Tulane University and completed my Master in Contemplative Psychotherapy at Naropa University (with a 12-year stint in Graphic Design in between).I see both design and psychotherapy as creative and artistic expressions and I weave these experiences together in my work.

The teen years are a crucial a time of transition from childhood to adulthood. The developmental task of the teen years is self-discovery and answering the question, "who am I?," as they move more fully into their unique expression in adulthood. The biggest task before them is learning to connect to themselves and their truth from a secure and grounded place.
I love working with women who are ready to begin living the most authentic expression of themselves. I believe in those longing to bring their unique gifts more fully into this world. Our world needs you. We will work together to co-create a sacred, non-judgmental, healing space as you delve into your deepest heart longings and uncover what has been blocking you on your path to living fully.
