Factor's deli
I think it is fair to say that the LA deli scene is dominated by the holy trifecta, Canter's, Langer's, and Brent's. Unfortunately, I'm of the opinion that FACTOR's Deli doesn't get the deli respect it deserves and it more than deserves a place amongst LA Deli luminaries. That being said, EVERYTHING was on point. 10 out of 10. Pickles, steak fries (delicately crispy outside and fluffy inside), Pastrami to die for (that rivals Langer's), and a REUBEN that hits different on a lovely weekend afternoon.
The vibe is old school americana deli

Ick! First off, the prices all over LA for food are way too high. I don't think I'd mind if I were getting a decent meal. That was not the case when I ordered a Tuna Panini at Factor's .My sandwiches did not look too appealing, so I picked up the bread to look at the inside. A brownish spot on the bread was disgusting, maybe it was from the avocado, not really sure though. The waiter came by, saw it and took it back. He brought me a Tuna Melt which was okay. The coleslaw was tasteless. The Chicken Caesar salad was barely edible. Lastly, the prices on the menu and what they charge

I order from Factor's a lot. This time I ordered a quart of matzo ball soup with 2 matzo balls, and a hot pastrami with cheese on sour dough through Postmates for pickup. I went to pick it up and when I looked at my matzo ball soup, it looked like there was only 1 matzo ball. I told the woman behind the counter that I thought I was missing a matzo ball. She said that quarts always come with 2 matzo balls and wouldn't look at my soup. I figured I just couldn't see through the noodles, carrots and broth properly and went home.
When I got home, I discovered that there was in fact only

First and foremost... I'm thrilled that Factor's is still around! Yes, hate to say it, but delis in LA seem to be sinking like an overweight matzah ball. They have been in business since 1948 and after being there a few times now, I can see why.
First... they care! I mean they really do. Debbie, the owner, is there all the time and she doesn't just sit in her office. Good, solid food. My expectations were met but not exceeded. Factors deli has an overall comforting, family friendly environment. I got the matzoh soup which was just fine. Also got one of the Reuben sandwiches and it tasted quite nice. Fries are spectacular. Would I come again? Probably not. But I still enjoyed my time here. Overall tasty food!

Service was friendly & efficient. I ordered a whole pastrami, machine cut (vs hand cut) with skinny fries (vs thick cut). My fries were cold & needed salt, but since they were cold, it was useless trying to add salt after the fact. Now, I'm not one of those persons that automatically adds salt to their food, but the pastrami was lacking salt as well. The meat was super tender & juicy & the rye bread was soft & fresh, but it was bland. I'm hoping this was a singular event.

As someone who lives in a location without an old-time deli and craved authentic Jewish deli food, this place did not disappoint. Between all the takeout food being prepared and the diners, the place was hopping, and I could see the kitchen was running at full steam so wasnβt surprised it took a little longer to get our order in and served, but it was worth the wait. The crispy rye bread crust, the melt in your mouth juicy pastrami, and a giant half portion of the chopped salad were excellent and the perfect amount of food for two to share (our waiter helped on deciding how much to order). First, the good: the pastrami was cut thick and was very tender.
The Bad and the reason for the low rating: Their to go ordering is an absolute mess. Beware if you call in or order through the apps. They will make you wait FOREVER. If you just waltz in and order on the spot, you will get the food much much faster. A bunch of us were waiting and three people ordered in person and got the food before all of us. Factors clearly doesn't care about ordering ahead of time. They claimed my order was waiting for the fries, but when I opened the box IN the restaurant to check, they were cold and soggy

I don't know about you but I love a traditional Jewish deli on a Sunday afternoon. This time was total chance that I ended up at Factor's Famous Deli... I was simply driving by and found a spot to park. On that note without valet ($8) parking this one is tough. A semi traditional atmosphere complete with lots of Hollywood film posters , many signed by cast and crew , makes sense beign on the edge of Beverly Hills. Upon walking up you show your vax card and off to a seat immediately I went. Prompt service overall and thr typical fast pace of a NYC deli. I went with the soup and half sandwich

First, I glanced at a few other reviews. I don't buy the one guy claiming he had a "racist" experience here. The dude has only written one Yelp review, and we're too believe that a cashier helped everyone else but left him standing there. Nope. That review doesn't pass the smell test.
Anywhooo....had never been here before, but was going to an event nearby. The event was going to have a dinner, and this was a late lunch. Was pleasantly surprised they had "mini" sandwiches. My wife got a chicken salad. I got a Reuben. Both were excellent. The waiter was nice,

Factor's Famous Deli... stumbled on this gem looking for a car wash in the area. And I was so excited, the sandwich was outstanding warm the bread was perfect not too crunchy but just perfect with the warm. The pickle and macaroni salad just excellent. I'm not going to share much more because this will be my secret spots. For sure. Love the NFL MLB memorabilia the gentlemen behind the scenes are professionals, the staff as well all being excellent. Be back soon 5 stars

Thought I'd add my 2 cents as I'd read quite a few fairly harsh reviews and actually was a bit nervous about going here.
Anyway, I went on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30.
The hostess was pleasant and nicely asked for my proof of vaccine, which I had (someone else mentioned that the hostess rudely yelled at them for their card, but that wasn't my case).
A nice young man took me to my table (no wait) and provided me with their menu -- it's a huge plastic laminated menu with multiple pages. He informed me that the prices on the menu were incorrect and I could refer to the QR

I was in the area on business for a few days with coworkers. After reading the reviews, we decided to give Factor's Famous Deli a try. Upon arrival, nobody greeted us at the front. As we walked in, a woman yelled (yes yelled) at us that she had to verify our vaccination status before entering. Now we realized this was the current requirement in Los Angeles County, but to yell at us was unacceptable. Once we produced our proof, we were allowed to sit with the rest of our party, who had already been seated. The other members of our party told us they were told not to worry about proof of vaccination

Takes about an hour to take an order down. The server never π gave me untensils or a napkin to eat my with and also a glass of water which I never π got!!! The food is excellent but the service is very slow!!! They donβt understand some customers take Access Services or Dial ride which one day they will be getting on Access before they get the bill. This is the 3rd time this has happened of the service being to slow. Anytime when this restaurant short on staff is 1. Take orders who take Paratransit so they can actually enjoy π their food 2nd any customers that need to eat very soon before

Went here to celebrate my grandparents 101st and 102nd birthdays...because every jew loves a good deli sandwich. This was my first time here and I was not prepared to deal with the terrible parking that comes along with dining here. There is no lot to park in and street parking has a lot of signs requiring some sort of permit. I rolled the dice and parked on a side street and prayed for not ticket.
When I went inside I was directed to an outdoor patio for a large party. Little weird fans were on the tables which later on I learned were to brush away flies. We had lovely servers and the manager

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this famous deli that I was so looking forward to trying. I was staying at a hotel around the corner so I walked over and ordered a brisket dip mini, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and half of a corned beef sandwich on rye. I walked back the hotel unpacked the bag to find just rye bread wrapped in foil. I called let them know what happened, walked back to the deli, and had to wait about 7 minutes for a half sandwich dry, no dressing, mustard, mayo.... See pictures...I've worked in customer service for years and would have accommodated the mistake

I love this place. I take my kids in all the time and cannot praise the food enough. My son is a poor eater and he finishes everything on his plate no matter what he orders. The staff is generally very sweet and attentive. The only thing I would recommend is to not get caught up in the deli/store side on your way out with kids, they have a lot of expensive "distractions" that you can definitely do without. Otherwise it is great food, albeit expensive.

Factor's Famous Deli
I had the most racist experience at this restaurant today. I walked in and was next in line and when it was my turn the lady behind the counter walked from behind the register and helped the two Armenian men behind me. I stood there and after she helped them, she went over to the deli area and talked to an employee. A white women with her child walked in and she immediately said, "Can I help you?"
Mind you, I've been here the entire time. After realizing this lady and her daughter were waiting on an order, this lady did not proceed to ask me if I needed
