Dr. Karam Rassam has been practicing dentistry since 1990 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Southern California (USC). I highly recommend you to give Memorial City Smiles a try, if you're in need of a dentist. I assure you that you won't be let down. I'm a returning patient here and I don't have any regrets. My formal dentist retired from practice and I got a chance to meet my new dentist here at this location. Dr. Rassam was very friendly and talked to me personally as to where I worked and what I did for a living. He was very detailed and asked if I had any issues concerning my teeth. My crown fell off on a Friday night and I panicked and called Memorial City Smiles at 8AM on Saturday. They had me in at 9AM and had me all fixed up within an hour. Dr. Rassam is very professional and honest. He easily could have tried to tell me I would need a costly implant, but he recommended a more conservative approach that allowed me to save my tooth. Office is clean and staff are professional.

These guys are really honest!!! They're not just trying to get all the money they can buy selling you expensive procedures and charging up your insurance. The last dentist I went to (Jefferson Dental) wanted me to have almost all of my teeth crowned!!! These guys told me all I needed was a couple of fillings. The staff is SO NICE!!! They got me in last minute when I took a friend to them. I asked if they took my insurance, and they did my exam and x-rays that very same time. I was done before my friend was finished. I have been coming here for a little over 3 years, we recently moved further and after one appointment at another dentist office we decided to just make the drive to Memorial City Smiles. The 40min drive for us is worth it, we usually schedule ourselves for Saturdays and grab brunch at city centre. The office is very cozy, and the whole staff is very friendly and caring ... Jeannie is the best and always go above and beyond in explaining everything you can think of. I highly reccomend them to our family and friends, its hard finding a good place where you feel at home.

I went in today for the first time for a checkup and cleaning. From the very start, Nahomi, the girl at the front desk, was super sweet and welcoming. After filling out the needed paperwork, I was immediately taken in. The dental hygienist was caring and explained everything she was doing while making sure to answer any questions I had. Overall I had a great experience at Memorial City Smiles! :)

Dr. Moravej & Dr. Pickett explanained on how my situation with my tooth extraction was going to happen , was very fluent and understandable. If I had a question, he was very kind to answer. We reviewed my x rays and it was scary to look at, but all went well when we talked about it. Jeanne in the front was VERY friendly from the first phone call I made, she was the reason what persuade me to come. I have been coming to Memorial City Smiles for about 4 years now, and I love it. They have the sweetest staff, super professional, very caring. I believe they really care not only about my dental health, but also about me as a person. The quality of work is exceptional. I have never had an issue with thinking I'm being taken advantage of like other dental offices tend to do. I'm pretty stubborn when it comes to maintaining my dental health and my budget, but they give me great tips and are very affordable. I highly recommend Memorial City Smiles. Dr. Moravej did a crown for me on a broken onlay that I had done 8 years ago. I was super nervous about getting more dental work, but the experience was amazing. The doctor and his assistants were so attentive and gentle and it was hands down the best experience I have had in the dental chair. My new crown is comfortable and pretty and I can honestly say that Dr. M is the most capable and talented dentist I've ever been to. I would highly recommend him!

The only positive thing I have to say about this place is the Dr. Moravej is a very respectful man. However, my experience as a whole was really bad.
Its all about the money with these guys. They will charge you for unnecessary things.
I went there 4-5 times to get a deep cleaning procedure and two crowns done and here is what I have to say:
1. Of the 4-5 sessions that I went there, I ended up going to the ER twice for an allergic reaction that I was having to something that they were using. Each time I went back and told the doctor, but he didn't seem to care.
2. The hygienist told me

Dr. Moravej and his team are truly one in a million. Everyone is so welcoming. Not only that, but they're all very verbal about what they are going as they do it. For someone with a lot of anxiety with dental work, this really makes me feel more comfortable and at ease. Dr. Moravej, himself, is a very kind and gentle man. He makes sure you are comfortable and calm at each step. I've avoided having dental work, other than cleanings, because of my fear of the dentist. Thanks to Dr. Moravej's amazing, pain free work, I actually scheduled my wisdom teeth extraction for a couple weeks

Horrible experience. I've never experienced a root canal so painful in my life. I kept complaining of the pain I was feeling and they just ignored me and proceeded to keep on working. The office lady tried over charging us several times and she's rude. There were $300-500 discrepancies every time I went in for work. The first crown didn't fit after being there for OVER two hours! They had to have a new crown made and it still doesn't fit properly. Run from this dentist!

After my former dentist retired, I made an appointment with Memorial City Smiles. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I felt as if I was being upsold by Dr. Moravej. I did not go back and found a new dentist, however Memorial City Smiles is charging $25 to transfer my x-rays. Very displeased.
Edit: Changed my review from one star to two stars because I received a very terse phone call a couple weeks later and my x-rays were transferred, but only because my insurance company got involved.
