Enrollment begins for children as young as 6 weeks old in our infant classroom. We also offer toddler and preschool programs in addition to a pre-k class that prepares young children for kindergarten. Our families also have the option of keeping their children enrolled in our before & after school programs.

Services
Ms. Danielle began her career in early childhood education in 2010 as an assistant teacher. In 2014, she opened a small group family day care program in her home. Three years later, Academic Explorers was founded. Her father, Mr. Paige provided support every step of the way throughout the development of the early learning programs.
With a strong reputation and collaborative relationship with the Roosevelt Free Union School District, we have offered the local residents free Universal Pre-K programs for three and four-year-old children as well as high quality infant, toddler, and preschool classes. After school and summer camp programs are also available for school-age children in kindergarten through grade 6.
Just down the Road from the Roosevelt location, Academic Explorers expanded into the neighboring community of Uniondale in the Fall of 2021. With spacious classrooms, brand new equipment and curriculum materials, our experienced team of teachers offer high quality child care for toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-k students.
Teachers support our babies learning how to crawl, walk, and play as they develop their gross motor skills. We implement Scholastic's Big Day for PreK curriculum which provides playful, intentional learning environment. We strive to create an environment wherein our toddlers learn social skills, independence, and potty training!
We know how tough it is to put your baby in day care after being home with them for their first precious moments. We get it, we are mommies, too. This is exactly why we know how to support you during this transition. Our spacious baby room is designed for our infants to have the freedom to develop their gross motor skills.

My daughter has been attending Academic Explorers for about two months now and I must say I am very pleased to know that I can go to work and have no worries. They have an App parents can use that keeps you up to date with activities,meals, and photos on a daily about your child. I highly recommend this facility to parents who are seeking great quality care for the child or children.
