Dewberry Farm is a private residence that you can reserve for weddings, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. On two special occasions, it is open to the public: Spring Tulips and Summer Sunflowers. We are adding a spring tea and cut flower event in 2021 and expanding our cut flowers for centerpieces and bouquets.
Call or email to find out what we have in season. Dewberry Farms sits on 20 acres of the original 100-acre family farm, purchased by Ash Johnson back in 1925. The farm was originally used for tobacco and sugarcane, with the sugarcane being used to create molasses for the local community. The current farm house was built in 1989 and the barn that sits below was built entirely from trees found and milled on the property.

This was truly the perfect venue for my wedding. The atmosphere is so inviting and the owners are truly amazing! I knew the moment I toured Dewberry Farm that it was a special place and was honored to have my wedding at this location. My guests definitely felt the magic and raved about how much they loved it for weeks. 10/10 would recommend Dewberry Farm for venue needs or events!

Dewberry Farm is a hidden gem! I had the pleasure of photographing my clients who are expecting a little girl in a few short months. We were impressed by the stunning display of tulips in all varieties and colors! Dewberry Farm did an amazing job managing parking, social distancing, and the admission process. If you haven't been to Dewberry Farm in Kernersville, you NEED to go! Be sure you time it right though and go as soon as those tulips start to bloom, before it's too late! This is such a beautiful venue for weddings and any outdoor event. We had the awesome pleasure of visiting the Springtime on The Farm event and participated in U Pick Tulips. 🌷 The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they gave great insights on what we'd find and invited us to roam the property and explore all the beautiful types of tulips. I can't wait to visit in the Summer to see the Sunflowers. 🌻

A delightful farm setting that can be booked for weddings. The venue seems perfect for a rustic outdoor event. The grounds are beautifully maintained.
Twice a year they allow the public to come pick tulips in the spring and sunflowers in July. Admission is only $5.00 and cut flowers are $1.25 each or dig the tulip bulbs for $1.75 each.
You do have to make a reservation on line for a two hour time slot which was plenty of time to see everything.
They have a children’s play area, some farm animals and old tractors. Many people come to take pictures for special occasions. It is the perfect setting

Dewberry Farm is a beautiful place! This farm has an amazing venue for weddings and parties and it’s fairly priced. I loved everything about this farm, so I decided to have my wedding there. The owners helped with all the details needed and provided a wedding planner. We had such a beautiful ceremony and reception. I’ll visit them back for the Spring Tulips and Summer Sunflowers U-Pick.
