L'Abri was founded in 2013 when one bride's search for the perfect farm venue ended in nothing but frustration- which, as the wedding day quickly approached, turned into panic! The bride wanted simplicity, rustic elegance, and "country chic"- eclectic southern charm with a twist- but she couldn't find a venue that seemed to fit.
Each option was either too expensive, too cliche, too impersonal/corporate, or just not intimate and special enough for the most important day of her life! The bride, along with her family, decided that the perfect spot for her wedding would be right there on the farm where she grew up. And she loved it so much, she wanted to share it with YOU, and anyone else who felt that it was the perfect fit for their big day!

L'Abri at Linwood is an absolutely beautiful venue operated by the extremely helpful, considerate, and accommodating Phillips family. Through every step of the process, they made sure we had what we needed to ensure a perfect wedding day. They helped us work through Covid restrictions provided us with a great sense of security during unchartered times. The venue is amazing but it is truly Debbie, Mike, Mychal, and Coleman that make this place so special. Thanks again for the great day!

I had my wedding here on 8.31.19 and I have nothing but positive feelings from my experience. Even from the beginning when I was touring the venue, I knew this place was special. The owner and her son Coleman are so helpful in ensuring you have a wonderful experience. All the set up was done the way I had asked and the venue is so pretty that you only needed small decorations. Coleman should be the only DJ you hire if you choose this venue because he did an AMAZING job with the music choices and getting people on the dance floor in addition to checking in with us throughout the night to make sure

Just attended my niece's wedding this past weekend, there at L'Abri at Linwood. Stunning! Natural beauty and excellent, organized assistance from the staff and family that own and run this place. Coleman was one of the highlight persons that kept this wedding beautiful and organized; his assistance with the flow of the ceremony, to the excellent songs as the DJ, and his concern for the oldest folks in the ceremony were so special and memorable in a "behind-the-scenes" kind of way. As a wedding guest, this place here at L'Abri at Linwood was a totally lovely wedding

While I didn't pick this venue for my wedding I want to share that it is truly lovely. I love the lake view for the ceremony, the girls cabin which is a house with all the amenities you can possibly need, and the decked out barn for the reception. Check this out - brides to be!! A big plus is that the family who owns it are so lovely and professional.

My wife Tiffany and I got married here in October 2014. Mike and Debbie are extremely special and amazing people. They helped make our wedding a extremely amazing and memorable time in our life. The property is awesome and really sets the seen for an amazing, rustic, and country feel. If your looking to get married and you want an amazing place with amazing people this is where you belong.

I got married here in April 2018 and I could not have asked for a better venue. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to all of my needs. The property is absolutely breathtaking and I knew this was my wedding venue from the second I pulled in the driveway. The bridal suite is huge and allows plenty of room for the ladies to get ready and relax, and the groom's cottage is quaint and cozy and is the perfect "man cave" for the gentlemen. They provided additional wedding resources which was extremely helpful and stated very clearly was was included in the price

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My daughter's wedding was this past Saturday at L'Abri. Debbie and her staff were awesome! Every time we went to the venue before the wedding, every time we called, texted or emailed we were left feeling like we were the only wedding there. So hospitable and family oriented...just what we wanted in a wedding venue. The property is stunning in every sense of the word! The pond, the bridal suite, the groomsman's cottage, and the barn were absolute perfection! The entire day went smoothly. Debbie's son, Coleman, was our DJ and he was outstanding! The best

We got married at L'Abri last month, and it was a dream! The Phillips' were so helpful and lovely. We had guests from all over the country and they all fell in love with the venue! It was a perfect, peaceful oasis, and we were so happy to share such an important celebration there. The business is professional while still maintaining a warm, family feeling. The staff were all kind and skilled. The property is gorgeous and you are able to make it whatever you want! We definitely recommend it!
