The Finch House is one of North Carolina's most accommodating wedding and event venues. We are located in Thomasville just a few minutes from I-85, within 30 minutes of both downtown Greensboro and Winston Salem. The mansion is over 7,000 square feet and sits on one and a half acres. We offer both indoor and outdoor wedding and reception options.
Tables, chairs and linens are included in our packages. A bridal suite and groom's suite give you the ability to get ready on-site. Andrew, Hillary, and Susanna at The Finch House were so accommodating. With the obstacles that 2020 handed us, they went the extra mile to help us with the constant changes to our daughter's wedding. Not only did we have to reschedule her wedding, but they allowed us to have a private ceremony with our immediate family on her original date, then re-do the ceremony 8 months later with her guests.
Centrally located in the Piedmont Triad, downtown Thomasville is just minutes from I-85. If you are interested in a beautiful setting for your next conference or meeting, we have several options on the estate that could be a perfect fit for your needs. Andrew & his crew are so easy to work with! I definitely recommend the all inclusive package he offers! It takes so much stress off of planning the wedding & day of stress. Not to mention the natural/historic beauty of this venue! Andrew definitely delivers on every promise he makes. After having a set wedding date, I found out I was pregnant and due around my original date. Andrew quickly sprung into action and helped us reschedule/replan everything! We couldn’t have done it without him.

I don't usually leave reviews but I knew I had to after my amazing experience with The T. Austin Finch House. I recently had my college graduation party there and it was perfect! Although I was stressed out about everything, especially the rain. Andrew took care of my family and I. He helped us set up, gave us advice on what would be better for the party, and was always quick with his responses whether it was a call, text, or email. He was also very funny and had my family and I laughing the whole time. Overall he was very accommodating and made my family and I feel comfortable during our time

Everything about this venue speaks of rich history and a desire to serve the surrounding community with grace, style and warm Southern hospitality. As a lover of old houses and a local resident, it has been a wonderful experience to watch this building come back to life. As a photographer, it is a dream come true to shoot portraits and events here -- inside and out! What a priceless treasure!

What a wonderful venue and team to work with for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The venue was beautiful, a perfect place to welcome our guests. Being with Andrew and Jeanne from artsy cakesy and Kevin with Crossties restaurant and catering was a true pleasure and honor in deed. From the decorations to the accommodations that Andrew worked out with us, to having the whole house to the catering company, everything was a success.
The food was exactly what we wanted and ordered! It was served to our guests in the timeframe that we gave them. The cake was to die for so moist and delectable. Our guest were asking for more!

It is hard to describe in a few words how wonderful our experience was in booking this beautiful and historic Venue. Can I give it 10+stars? Our daughter was married here and we knew from the initial meeting with Andrew that he “would take care of us” and with those exact words he did just that... as if you were the only ones to book the Venue. Susanna, the day of coordinator, is so fantastic, easy to work with and very detailed. You need this kind of attention they both bring because it really limits the stress on your special day. We are so appreciative for the attention to detail and style

As a COVID bride I had endured my fair share of postponing, rebooking, waiting, hoping, and almost throwing in the towel and giving up celebrating our big day the way we had envisioned. As a Wedding Videographer, I've worked with The T. Austin Finch House and their awesome team on multiple occasions. This venue has a TON of rich history and the building/event spaces are absolutely beautiful.
