What is pre-planning? It is making the decisions about your funeral or final disposition before the need arises. By pre-planning your funeral, you eliminate burdensome decision making when your family is least prepared to make those decisions. The funeral preparations, if not arranged in advanced, must be dealt with at the time of death.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

This is our second time using them for pet cremation services and the staff is very nice. Last year we had our beloved Bella cremated and today we had our dog buddy cremated. But this time with buddy's ashes we had chosen the funeral home to spread them since it was the right thing to do for our dog after battling cancer. He is now pain free. Thank you all.

The staff at Burroughs made it easy to manage the physical and emotional tasks related to my father's death. When we knew his death was imminent, Ally answered all my questions thoroughly and with patience. Then, Scott helped us through the paperwork, obituary, and cremation arrangements with kindness and care. When we picked up his ashes, Melissa showed us great respect, and their whole team came out to present us with his flag. We truly could not have made it through this difficult time without the genuine care and understanding of this kind and professional team. I hope not to use their services

Brought my cat to get cremated. They told me it would be 5 days and they'd call me when he was ready. I waited 10 days, I figured maybe they were backed up or something. Finally I call because I was getting a little impatient. Turned out they never even wrote my phone number down, even though I had given it to them 3-4 times during my visit.

We lost my father is a tragic way & we we’re still in a great deal of shock when going through this process. We had obituaries printed in several papers where my fathers name was printed incorrectly, not misspelled, the wrong name was printed even though we had sent an edited and corrected copy. Instead of showing compassion and patience during this difficult time Burroughs Funeral home treated us with a great deal of disrespect, including asking my sister how she sleeps at night. The unprofessional behavior was overwhelming when they called my mother and told her they were being bullied because

Our dear 11 year old boxer passed away while we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach. She was a family member to us and we were so distraught as what to do being away from home. We called and spoke with Burroughs and they took great care of us and our Delilah. They were compassionate and caring. Allowed us time to discuss what we wanted. It made this hard time a little easier turning Delilah over to a place where you would take a departed family member. They provided us with a paw and nose print. I just want to say thank you for your kindness and for your care of our sweet girl.

I contacted Burroughs Funeral Home and Pet Cremation Services to make arrangements for my sweet dog. I was so relieved when they agreed to my special request. They showed me as much kindness compassion and concern as if I was making arrangements for a human family member. When I made a connection with their special needs house cat "Ashes" I knew I found the best place to cremate my dog "Blue". Thank you for giving me the peace of mind I was seeking. Thank you.

Chris and his entire staff are the most heartwarming and compassionate people that I've witnessed after attending many funerals. When my beloved Dad went home to be with the Lord, Chris and his daughter arrived to his house and with love and compassion removed my Dad, respectfully. It was so touching when Chris placed a rose on my Dad's pillow. The funeral service was beautifully done. They are genuinely an incredible group of people that care about families and loved ones.
