Each individual is dynamic and that is how we treat people. Our approach to treating the body comes from a plethora of clinical and scholarly expertise. We have a whole body approach. SBR is coming from over a decade of multiple approaches to treating and diagnosing musculoskeletal and alignment issues and working with multiple sport and medical diagnoses.
Initial Running Analysis will include a thorough physical assessment by our SBR staff specializing in the body and running. We will be looking at movement patterns, mobility, and strength. We are trained extensively in human biomechanics at multiple levels of tissue, bone, and muscle. Video and photos of running gait with be taken followed by an in depth discussion on individual findings and resulting effects.
What is manual therapy? Manual therapy is a plethora of hands on techniques at SBR that we use to perfect your body mechanics. Our hands are like receptors constantly assessing the needs of your body. The techniques vary depending on your bodies needs on that day and time. Many times manual therapy involves repetitive ranges of motion, stretching, mobilizations, manipulations.
Traditional massage therapy has been utilized for its relaxing effect, gentle applied pressure to calm the body. This is perfect for someone seeking restful and calming experience. However we provide "body work" and/or "massage" to prevent pain, improve alignment and biomechanics, and performance. Bodywork is important to get an edge on performance and to keep your biomechanics and alignment in track for life and sport.
All to often people are going in the wrong directions to treat musculoskeletal and fascial pain. It is with our whole body approach, healing touch, clinical and scholarly education and treatment options that we have our success. It is quite possible you can get off your medication or scheduled surgery that was given as your only or last option.

Dr. Crawford is incredible- I went in for neck tightness and after one session it was dramatically better. She is different than other physical therapists because her results are so immediate and long lasting. Highly recommend going to SBR, she knows the body so well and really wants to help people get where they want to go.

Jeannie is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate physical therapists I’ve ever been to (and there have been a lot). She takes the time to understand what is bothering you and gives educated advice and exercises to help your condition improve. She is very hands on and does great manual therapy. I highly recommend Jeannie to anyone who is looking for a therapist that truly want to see you recover and become pain free.

SBR and Jeanie Crawford once again has shown that her dedication and expertise in the field of physical therapy can indeed effect measurable positive outcomes relieving pain and restoring mobility. Unlike so many clinic and hospital therapy regimens seemingly more focused on “ going through the motions” and pushing paperwork, Jeanie approaches the skeletal muscular and nerve issues with laser like precision and effort. I had apparently overworked and knitted up my upper back resulting in nightly back spasms. In one session
I could sleep again without discomfort. I must say with a little embarrassment

It is difficult in today’s medical world of consolidations and franchises to find a
knowledgeable and compassionate professional truly driven by a deep desire to
dramatically improve your physical well being and so quality of life. Someone who will not simply go through the motions of physical therapy but will instead aggressively and intuitively apply her formidable arsenal of skill sets to holistically
correct the various physical insults and misalignments of the body while relieving pain and discomfort. She approaches the body as a whole with learned wisdom and thus achieves lasting results

Had a running analysis and got so much more. A through thoughtful analysis along with an adjustment was fantastic. Living with siatca pain for the last 3 years and after one visit I feel the best I have in years. Jeannie so happy to have made the trip and can't wait to see you again. Really wish I lived closer.

I have known Jeannie for approximately 2 years, while she agressively treated my husband with her own special brand of therapy. She was the only medical professional that actively treated his problems (and we saw many...most gave us another pill!) and truly helped him. Well, now it's my turn. After just one therapy session for a chronic SI problem, I am in half the pain I was in yesterday. I don't understand her methods, but I do know we haven't found her level of care & concern anywhere else.
