Body Renovation is Ozaukee county's premiere sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation center. With our therapists' extensive backgrounds, we've seen AND successfully rehabbed a LOT of patients. Hands-on care has been shown to effectively help muscles, joints, and deep connective tissue move. From there, we can re-train your body to move correctly.

Injury can cause decreased motion within connective tissue that surrounds organs, causing pain. Gentle visceral mobilization of these tissues can improve motion, help decrease pain and improve overall function. Understanding movement and how an individual body responds to what is required in any sport is key to proper preparation, strength & conditioning.
Services
Our therapists go beyond the traditional passive and equipment-based modalitites most clinics rely on. Our extensive education in hands-on therapies like tissue mobilization, traction, muscle activation, taping and/or stretching, allows BRPT therapists to diagnose restrictions in muscle, joints and deep connective tissue.
Running is a whole-body exercise and certainly not one-size-fits-all. Naturally, your evaluation will take your entire body, personal traits and goals into account. During the evaluation, your therapist will take note of leg strength and flexibility, alignment, posture and stride. You'll also discuss past injuries or pain, current training regimens, as well as fitness or race goals.
Rick is a graduate of UW-Madison and has been a licensed physical therapist for over 20 years. He opened Body Renovation in 2002, and has continued to help it grow to what it is today. Rick believes strongly in patient education. He takes time to teach patients about their injuries and how they can help themselves achieve their rehabilitation goals.
We will help you get those answers. We work like any other medical clinic in that we accept most major health insurance plans, and are in-network with most. We are able to manage Worker's Compensation cases, as well as other accident claims. And we are as up front as possible about our network discounts, pricing, etc.
Brian discusses and demonstrates how to stretch your gastroc and soleus muscles of your calf. Hold these stretches 20-30 seconds to help out with plantar fasciitis. Ergonomics while sitting at a desk can be a struggle. If you are working at your desk for a while and feel tightness in your back and/or hip(s), this hip flexor stretch is a good way to take a break without having to completely walk away from your work station.
