At Chateau Bu-De Winery & Vineyard, Bohemia Manor Farm, we strive to produce the finest Maryland wines, while staying true to the terrain & sustainable process of winemaking. Visit the beautiful 440 acre Bohemia Manor Farm, historic property of Augustine Herrman, a Bohemian explorer, merchant & cartographer who produced a map of the Chesapeake Bay & Delaware Bay in exchange for permission to establish a plantation, which is now where the vineyard & winery is located.

The passionate & talented winemaker, Jacques van der Vyver, produces the highest quality wines using old world and new world techniques in a state of the art facility.Finding innovative methods to maintain the natural and pure form of the grapes enables Chateau Bu-De to make the finest Maryland Wines.
Services
Born out of our love of fine wines and cheeses, Chateau Bu-De Winery & Vineyard has become the premiere location for fine wines. After traveling the world and sampling different wines, proprietors, Brenda & Warren Dedrick, decided to make their way back to the US and craft the finest wines right here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Sourcing, growing & managing the best fruit in the vineyard is where it all begins. It is an attention to detail that results in Chateau Bu-De grapes being given the best treatment. Brian Dickerson, the vineyard manager, has resulted in higher quality fruit from Bohemia Manor Farm. Managing all of the fermentations is the key to optimizing exceptional components from the fruit.
When you join Chateau Bu-De, Bohemia Manor Farm's Wine Club, you become part of a journey of innovative & ever-changing wines. We are dedicated to offering only the finest wines & would love to share them with you. There is no cost to become a member of our Wine Club. Very poor online purchase experience! I live about 40 minutes from Chateau Bu-De and have visited there on occasion, and I like their wine. I ordered a bottle of stagecoach wine on December 1 to be sent to my parents for Christmas. I got an order number and $114 was deducted from my account but the bottle of wine has not been received. I tried three times to contact them via their web site and called twice. I was promised call back from the manager Edward but never received one, I tried calling them back but no one answered. I would certainly think twice before purchasing from them online.

Chateau Bu-De lives up to their name with the buildings and scenery. There's indoor/ outdoor seating to enjoy their wines. Being it was my first time at this vineyard, it felt "unfriendly?" to noobs in that if there was a new released wine, which happened to be a Pinot noir, one would have to be a wine club holder to do a tasting. Otherwise, a noob will have to wait two weeks to taste. With that being said, check their website first if you are a die hard noob wanting to try specific wines for availability on your day off travel. The Chateau sure does get crowded, especially if there is a private

WORST customer service experience I have ever had, especially considering my fiancé and I were going to spend THOUSANDS of dollars at this business for our wedding. I’m so glad we had this experience early on to save us the trouble and frustration of working with these people and relying on them to help our special day go smoothly.
This lack of professionalism was there from the beginning. I received an email response from Chris the Tasting Room Manager to schedule a tour. He was going on a two week vacation in a few days, but let us know when he would be back and able to meet with us. That

Funny story, we were trying to visit the Bohemia State Park, which is still under construction, so the access road is closed. We had to turn around and drove into the Manor Farm's driveway, and it looked cool so we decided to stop by. We were quite happy we did--they have a very nice facility, with a beautiful view over the front meadow onto the Chesapeake Bay---we were chilling out with their wine sampler watching a grand sunset.
They claim to be a highly ranked winery in Maryland, and the wines we tried were quite good. My favorite was a red Merlot-Cab blend: very nice nose and mouth feel, would

Location is ideal, with beautiful river views. Rain forced us inside, but still had great views and the facility is very very nice. Small Charcuterie was just okay, but it’s more about the wine!

Absolutely love this place! I brought my son and his two roommates. We each had a flight and chose a bottle to share. We had some food and enjoyed the absolutely stunning view of the water. My son and one of his roommates joined the wine club. Wish I lived closer I would have joined as well! Katie was friendly and knowledgeable.

Beautiful winery with delicious wine and a fun, but upscale atmosphere. The outdoor area looked great too but it was a cool, windy day when we were there so we did not get to enjoy that area. We stayed at a bed and breakfast about 5 minutes away, so this was a great stop near our overnight accommodations!
