My wife and I made a weekend of Longwood Gardens and the Chaddsford Winery. This was our first winery trip, so I have nothing to compare it to; however, I thought the presentation of the 3 wines was really well done. The pairing of different foods with each of the wines was very eye-opening. How a certain food eaten before or after a wine can affect the way the wine tastes so dramatically was very interesting. My wife and I enjoyed all 3 wines in addition to the introductory wine we were given as we were seated. The only negative was the seating area. I understand that COVID has altered the way

Wine was OK. Dry whites were not what I would consider good, Penns woods nearby are absolutely better in that department. Sweet wines (Niagara, etc) they were good quality for what the wine will ever be. Their reds are decent, good cab sauvs, but not anything I would go meaningfully out of my way for.

We had such a great time from beginning to the end. The guest at the front were so helpful and gracious. We were running a little behind but the still welcomed us in and made us feel like a part of the tasty as if we got there from the beginning. Nick WAS SO AWESOME!!! And they instructor was very good at explaining the wines and giving us examples of wines that are combability. I can't wait to come back.

Myself and three of my friends went to the winery on a scheduled appointment. Two members of the group were late due to unforeseen traffic. The winery was nice enough to give my friend and I a glass of wine while we waited and re-scheduled our tasting for a little later. The full tasting was very informative and fun. The wine was delicious. There is definitely a wine for every taste bud. I was able to get all of my questions answered and the snacks were delicious. Would recommend for a fun outing.

My sister and I came here recently to do a tasting specifically the Festive Favorites Tasting! The entire experience was so much fun and our guide was so knowledgeable and made the experience great fun! All the wines were so delicious and we got to taste some unique wines and the pairings were so well thought out and I loved that they were all local partnerships as well! Truly loved the experience and will be back again!

Very unhappy with my visit yesterday. I took my mom to the winery for the first time as I have always had amazing experiences (both before and during covid). We made a reservation because that is what the site suggests to do for weekend guests. When we walked in and checked in, the hostesses/cashiers couldn’t have looked more bothered, like we were such a burden and interrupting something important. We were then sat next to the bar, where walk-ins and those sitting at the bar were having a great experience and the bartender was very attentive to them. We sat for 15 minutes before I walked up

Nice spot for some wine tasting. There are food trucks, though the food options were limited to finger foods. I wish there were more to it, but it's just a nice small winery great for friends to catch up on a nice day.

Eh. This place has potential, but I just wasn't impressed. This was my first time going to a winery so I really wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but this was pretty underwhelming.

The "table service" is just a reserved seat on the patio -- which doesn't overlook anything by the way. On a Saturday afternoon, I expected it to be vibrant, but the ambiance was severely lacking. Wine was just okay also. We really didn't get a history of the winery or anything like that. For all we know, this could've been someone else's wine just rebranded.

Went for the very first time for their adult trick or treat event and had the best time! The staff is awesome, especially our wine tour guide, Cameron! The food from the food truck was phenomenal and the same can definitely be said for their wine. Will be returning soon!

I love the winery and it's especially beautiful in the fall. Today was my second or third time visiting and my friend and I went for the adult trick or treat event. It was such a nice day and the event was just long enough. We had 5 different tastings and 4 of them were paired with local goods. After the trick or treat tour people were able to have picnics and buy wine by the glass for consumption on the grounds. I bought a couple of bottles to take home. It was the perfect day, I just wish we could have went into the store to browse more wines.

Chaddsford Winery & their crew are always impressing me! From their affordable, delicious wines (and slushees!!!) to the staff's professionalism and kindness during their tours. Corey & his team are always an upmost pleasure to work with.
I definitely recommend CFW for any fall day activity or private event.

Chaddsford Winery is about a 45-minute drive from my house but it was well worth the trip. The winery is beautiful and quaint and the staff is very friendly with fast and efficient service.

I took my mother wine tasting and we had a fabulous time. It was too cool to sit outside so we opted for the indoor tasting room, which had a relaxed vibe. We went on a week day so we didn't need reservations. We each got a tasting flight -- I had the Something Sweet with Sunset Blush, Sangria and Niagara. My mom did a mixed flight with Traminette, Harbinger and Dry Rose Redux. Although the Something

We arrived with a group of 7 (not huge especially for a winery) and the hostess was INCREDIBLY rude and would not accommodate us even if we split into two smaller groups, there were plenty of open tables and she would not even make an attempt to serve us. Have never been treated so rude in my life. Terrible customer service!

We had an amazing private tasting here a couple weekends ago. The selection of wines was delicious and our wine guide was incredibly informative and fun. The grounds of the winery had lots to choose for snacks and single glasses. Everything was clean and every employee we encountered was so helpful and nice to chat with. Loved it!

I really enjoyed the wine tasting event where I felt I learned a few new things both about wines in general and also about the history of the winery and business focus itself. The "educator" or talking host was very knowledgeable about Chadds Ford winery and wines in general and gladly took questions. I liked about half of the wines in the tasting, but I'm more a fan of reds and it was August, so they would be more prevalent in the fall and winter. Enjoyed the wine shop as well which had a nice assortment of wines available for purchase.

The food and wine tasting was the perfect birthday gift to myself. They give you a tasty sparkling welcome wine upon entering the tasting. Each wine was better than the last. And the cheese, jam and chocolate to pair were amazing. The special treat of infused gelato for the last pairing was an awesome finale. Kudos to the host for leading such a delightful tasting. I thoroughly enjoyed her wealth of knowledge of the wine and food pairings. Definitely will be returning! The welcome staff were also very warm and inviting!

Disappointed on a Friday in the summer the place was empty basically. The young gentleman who took our photo was very kind and offering assistance. We didn’t feel the winery charm from the young ladies unfortunately, they made us feel like they didn’t cared if we drank or purchased wine. We did purchase 4 bottles plus did 2 flights. We wanted to buy a case, will check out the other wineries close by. The wines were good though.

I spent a lovely afternoon here with some friends. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and they allowed us to stay at our table a little longer than we were supposed to. The wines we had were delicious and refreshing. My favorite was the sparkling white. We brought our own glasses to drink from as well as our own food, but there was a food truck near the tables. Our waitress was so kind and extremely knowledgeable of their wines and what they would pair best with. I've been very cautious with dining during Covid, but Chaddsford Winery took every precaution seriously and I felt safe and

The wines here were a 4, but the service was a 10, so that is why Chaddsford Winery earned itself a 5. I will preface this by saying that we came for a 4:30 wine tasting, which was at the end of the day, so we had the privilege of having the staff to ourselves. Lucy, was our main server, but was more of a concierge. She was unbelievably knowledgeable not only about the wine, but everything it would pair well with. She was great conversation and able to handle all of my friend's off the wall questions. It's a shame she is going to be moving to Portland (which will be perfect for her

I thought CFW was okay. We came around 4pm on a weekday and did a tasting and then ordered a red flight. The tasting felt very rushed, the woman that helped us was nice but clearly busy and out of breath. The pours were pretty inconsistent, usually with each one either me or my friend would get significantly more. After that we each ordered a red flight. $30 for what seemed a rushed experience was not what I expected. Wines were good, but nothing particularly groundbreaking where I wanted to buy a bottle. Also how do you have a winery with no snacks or food! I always get a charcuterie when I go

We came here for my best friends 26th birthday back in July and it was absolutely perfect! For a Saturday at about noon, there was plenty of outdoor seating. There happened to be an event happening -- like an adult summer camp with games and wine (an absolute dream!!), the food truck of the day was a crab cake truck that was BOMB and they had the wine popsicles flowing!

We brought our own cheese board, birthday cake and few other snacks but they do have some things available at their little snack stand in conjunction with the food trucks!

Would totally recommend to a friend and I'll for

This review is primarily for the Adult Trick or Treating - I've been before in the summer when they have all the food trucks out and live music, which is really fun and great energy. So I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by the Adult Trick or Treating. You can pre-buy tickets online (non-refundable) or you can get them at the door if there are any left at a higher price. I wish we had waited until the day of to purchase tickets because when we went it was pouring rain and in the 40s (no fault of the winery at all) and I thought they would move all the stations inside but 2-3 were

Well. ( yawns) so this was my first time going to a winery and I just wasn't impressed. I don't know what I was particularly expecting, I guess I thought I would have some oohs and aahs but nope it was just a mediocre experience of expensive wine in a fairly small building.

I came to their chilli and chowder festival and it was packed with so many people. We were able to visit each station and sample two of their wines which were the 17 presage which had flavors of honey, peach apple and pear. We also sampled the 16th standard which had flavors of strawberry and black cherry.
