As individuals age, they may experience a variety of diseases, injuries, or a decline in health that affects their ability to fulfill their daily activities of living. Losing one's independence can negatively impact a senior's quality of life and produce feelings of hopelessness, depression, and anxiety.
We are always looking for qualified applicants to join our fast-growing, high-caliber team of healthcare professionals. Applicants must meet certain minimum qualifications that are provided in the position posting. A background check, valid license, and drug screening are required. We care about every resident who walks through our doors, and we are determined to help them reach their full recovery potential. We accomplish this by developing a culture of connectedness among our staff and creating a detailed approach to delivering exceptional care. Our staff is highly trained to provide our residents with 24-hour care.
Regular visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visits are limited to these hours to allow our patients to rest. Outside of these hours, we lock our doors, as most patients are asleep. For before- or after-hours visits, please use the doorbell; our staff will be happy to assist you in entering the facility.

All the staff at this facility are so kind and professional. Spencer, the Administrator, is always observing and comes around to the patients serveral times daily to see how you are doing and asks if you need anything. Their Therapy team are excellent. They are very patient and always encouraging you.
I was glad I was in their care. Hopefully I won't need this type of facility again but if I do I'd return to Kei-.ai SouthBay in Gardena .

Kei Ai South Bay has a great leadership team! The Administrator personally knows each resident and can be seen rounding the facility often. Their nurses are kind and competent. I work in healthcare and have seen first-hand the incredible sacrifice and compassionate response by brave nurses, housekeepers, cooks, therapists, and other essential healthcare workers in doing their best to promote the health of all their patients.

As an employee at Kei-Ai South Bay for over 4 years, I have interacted with hundreds of moms and dads of the families that entrusted their loved ones here. I never thought my mom would be here for short term rehabilitation. About 8 weeks ago, my mom fell several times and was confused. I became an “instant” caregiver - helping her with feeding, toileting and bathing. She was getting very hard to take care of at home, so I scheduled a telemedicine appointment with her primary doctor. He diagnosed her with a small stroke. A home health nurse visited us and recommended that my mom should come

I have been in many facilities over the years as a Nurse, family member and patient and Kei Ai stands out in my mind as one of the best experiences I have had, there staff is knowledgable, kind, energetic and they made my experience there the best it could have possibly have been, I would whole heartedly recommended this facility to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility to place their loved one. I highly recommend this facility! If you are looking for a place to use and enhance your skills in the medical field this is the place to go! Katherine the staff developer is top notch! She is very helpful and caring not only to the residents but the staff as well. The receptionist Jeryll is very helpful and easily connects loved ones to the residents in a timely manner. The facility in all have great staff. They are very friendly and welcoming. When you walk in the facility it is very clean and has a homey feel. The administrator Spencer is great. He knows his residents by name and checks on them

I’m super thankful for this facility. They provided the best care to my grandfather. I’ve heard many stories about nursing homes but with Kei-Ai it’s a whole different experience. Thank you to Lucy in Admissions for helping out with this process, and being there every step of the way. Thank you to all the staff for their continuous hard work and providing the best care. This is by far the best nursing facility I have ever been to. The staff is so friendly, caring, and accommodating. The building is well kept and clean. There plenty of activities for the residents there to participate in. The culture is worth experiencing. If you decide to bring a love one here they will be in good hands. Also, I just found out they are 5 star rated facility by the state. It definitely not a surprise its such a great facility.
