I love being an orthodontist and having the ability to create beautiful and healthy smiles for others. Over the years, it has been truly gratifying to watch the transformation of my patients' lives once they are able to smile with confidence. Kimi is the Office Coordinator of Hawaii Orthodontist with over 10 years experience as an orthodontic assistant. Seeing the transformation of our patient's smile is her passion and providing exceptional customer service is her specialty. Kimi's favorite part of her job is the daily interactions with patients and their families as well as building friendly relationships with patients who have become like family over the course of their treatment.
At our orthodontic practice, we work hard to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity toward our needs. We understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sure each patient has an exceptional experience at our practice.

I didn't have to look far for a great orthodontist because I was referred to one by my dentist! Dr Shelli as I fondly call her is one of the kindest, sweetest, easy going, fun orthodontist to work with and her staff is the best too!
I am always welcomed with a warm smile into their clean office. Covid guidelines are practiced here, temperature checks, hand sanitizing, face masks and social distancing.
Your consultation which includes pictures and Xrays will determine the type of treatment the dr can offer you to include the approximate length you will have to wear your braces. Unfortunately

I shopped around before deciding where to get my invisalign and am very happy I chose Dr. Kawamoto and her team. Super professional, friendly, and fun staff. They make you feel like you are their favorite client!
Parking is a LOT easier now that they built the new structure in front of longs. You can walk over on the 3rd floor.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with the doctors. You initially see one for a consultation then are seen by I guess a tech whenever you come in for maintenance. But God forbid life happens and your child doesn't go back for awhile. While their receptionist tries to come off as nice, her tone drips with condescension. I understand that if my child doesn't go back regularly it could make the process take longer, however we have great insurance and paid our portion in full when my son had his braces put on. It's not like I owe them money. I'm an adult and don't need

She is professional and good at what she does. She made wearing braces fun with her sunny personality. She was able to adjust my invisilines to made them work whenever I had a "stubborn tooth". My teeth are straight and look great! I totally got what i paid for! I moved to NY and had to have my last sets of invisilines mailed to me. She was totally accommodating! LOVE HER!!

Dr. Shelli ROCKS!!!!! And I"m not just saying that because my teeth are perfectly straight and gorgeous right now. But if you are looking for a perfectionist, sweet, thorough, warm, and caring orthodontist, look no further. PLUS, her staff rocks, too. From the Ala Moana receptionists to the staff helping all the patients, you can't ask for better service.
In one instance, I needed to get a wire retainer to move my teeth quick (I have Invisalign), the sweet, sassy, & cute staff let me have a pink, glitter, and glow-in-the-dark acrylic...FUN!!! I always have a great time when I go
