Dr. DeMeo has been crafting beautiful smiles and improving oral health since 2006. Dr. DeMeo earned his undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Cornell University and then his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. DeMeo continued his training by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Washington, D.C. and then practiced at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
As a courtesy to you and your family dentist, we will always discuss the feasibility of braces or tooth straightening without charging a fee for the initial consultation. As a rule of thumb, we like to evaluate young patients after the 6-year molars erupt and the front permanent teeth just start to appear.
Upon your arrival, please notify our receptionist. You will be greeted by our treatment coordinator who will begin acquainting you with our office. After the treatment coordinator has acquainted you with our office, she will take digital photographs. The doctor will then conduct a thorough clinical orthodontic examination.
As a matter of convenience to patients, Dr. Dung also offers an automatic draft from checking accounts or credit cards. Dung Orthodontics offers financing through CareCredit, enabling you to pay for out-of-pocket orthodontic expenses for you and your family. CareCredit extends special financing options that you may not always be able to get using your Visa or Mastercard.
We requested a time change if it was possible and got a call, email and text the day before to let us know we could change our time. Colleen is a dream come true as a secretary, a real angel with wings, she helps me with my teenage son, Jonathan's appts. There was once a calendar easily available on your website, one which showed which office you were in each week.

They are very accomodating and have good service.
But FYI I would suggest you to check with other orthodontist because of the examination (x-ray) fee of 200 dollars.
Usually other dental places do it for free and they have 3D model!
I paid 200 bucks which was a waste when I chose not to do it with them

Dr. Dung has treated two of my children as well as myself. My daughter went with traditional braces, and a couple of years later, my son and I decided to try Invisalign. When treatment began, he gave each of us new Braun electric toothbrushes, with a wireless monitor and orthodontic heads. He explained that it was important to keep teeth as clean as possible so that there wouldn't be stains or other residue on our tooth enamel when he removed brackets or attachments at the end of treatment. Dr. David Dung is a great orthodontist! My two daughters started seeing him when they were 10 and 11 years old. He treated their teeth with care and was able to create the great smiles they now have! His office is conveniently located near Ala Moana. His staff is always pleasant and willing to go the extra mile! 5 stars for my girls' 5 star smiles!

My experience at Dr. Dungs Orthodontics was fantastic.The staff members are whole heartedly devoted to making your smile the best it can be! There are always laughs and memories created within their offices. All workers truly make you feel like you are family. Wouldn't trust my teeth with any other orthodontist. I got braces when I was in middle school, and instead of just slapping em on a kid and sending him on his way, Dr. Dung explained to me the process and objectives of the procedures. Over the next couple years, I'd go in and actually enjoy the appointments. There was very little pain or discomfort, and the staff is extremely welcoming. Anybody in need of an orthodontist, look no further, Dr. David J Dung is your man.

David Dung's office is located in the Pan Am building, but they do not validate for parking inside the pan am parking structure!!! Instead, park in the same parking lot as Blockbuster. On the left of Blockbuster, there are five numbered stalls (numbered 1-5, duh) where you can park for free.
With a local friendly personality, Dr. Dung is so personable and nice, but you can tell he's a professional who knows what he's doing. The office is clean, homely, and comfortable. Don't expect shiny tile flooring or professional paintings on the wall.
