Governor Mifflin Apartments

I am moving into an apartment next month and I am so pleased with Laura. This being personally, my first time figuring out setting up utilities (my roommate has done it in the past), she has been so helpful and eager to answering my questions and so helpful throughout this entire moving process. She is super fast at responding to my emails which has been also a blessing. I am excited to call this place home and to be apart of this community ! Thank you!

This apartments are nice and clean. The area is very quiet and people are friendly and respectful. They have a nice in ground pool for patrons and they keep it very clean and organized. The pool staff is super cool and always willing to help.

I miss my apartment and my neighbor next door and co-worker upstairs. I especially miss my maintenance guys, funny characters! Laura the manager is wonderful. I can't complain about complex at all, except if your a smoker, do it outside, they say your allowed to smoke in your home, but DON'T tell you your responsible for the paint job once you move and it's no where in the lease. But Other than that, I loved that place and everyone kept to the thereselves! I personally wish I never moved from there. If I could go back I would. I should of Just followed my instinct and stayed there. But anyway,

Very clean. Safe and management is on point when tenants need any repairs in the units.

For the most part, I enjoy living here. I have to disagree with some of the other reviews. The air vents in my apartment are changed annually. If I have a maintenance problem, they are out relatively quickly to fix it. If it's a leak in the middle of the night, they will come at 2 AM to fix it. They did for me anyway. The pool and clubhouse are nice. The building common areas get cleaned once a week (Thursdays in my building). I generally don't smell smoke from the other units. I will give Negative Star if there is an option. You will feel sorry for the rest of your life if you choose the place. I only lived there 3 weeks, and I have to moved out due to health issues, and safety for my family. The place is cheap, everything inside is cheap. If anything broken; It will take forever for them to fix.

The office looks will fool you..it was nice at first until I started noticing little things:
Cheap carpet,
Horrible smoke smell from other tenants coming into your apartment when we were told there was no smoking in the apartments.
The office NEVER returns phone calls .They raise your rent every year when the apartments are not worth it.

Plumbing problems on 1st and 2 and floor. Toxic mold. Rent raised every renewal. Cheap carpet, flat white paint on all walls. Vents never cleaned out since place was built. don't be fooled by the looks of the office. Place is a ripoff. Decades of neglecting. No fire escape.
