This is one of my favorite motels in the entire state of Michigan. I travel frequently, self-employed, so it's important that I get a good value and a reasonable rate. I've never been disappointed, stayed here over a couple of decades. Rich is a great guy, patriotic American. If you have a problem with that, you should probably stay somewhere else and pay more.

Filthy. Bed bugs. Dust. Grime. Molds. This place has it all. Put on top of it that the owner is a right wing propaganda puppet and values his profit over the health of people as can be seen by his use of a business sign to spew vile political hatred. You'd have a better time sleeping on the streets than any of these rooms.

This was a fantastic find! I was in Traverse City for a few days and had a really bad experience with airbnb. I called after 6pm and spoke to the owner, I m sorry I forgot his name, Richard maybe? He said he'd hold a room for me as soon as I could get there (had to crawl out the window of the airbnb on Veterans) I stayed in a wonderful cabin and the restaurant and market next door and 2 doors down were great too! Definitely staying again.
