Blueberries are arguably the healthiest fruit, with high antioxidant values. In some cases, blueberry wine can provide more healthy compounds than white or red wines, according to one study conducted by the University of Florida. Dinner is served outdoors on our patio next to our open wood grill and Koi pond Friday and Saturday evenings.
Our wines are created with fresh blueberries harvested and fermented with care to create a unique table wine that is far from ordinary. Very poor customer service!!
We made reservations for Saturday, Jan 22 for 8 people. We knew it was going to be very cold that night, in the 30's, so I called myself that morning and I was assured they were only seating inside due to the weather.
When we arrived another member of our party was told we were going to put outside.
So I walked up to the hostess stand where a young lady was standing, but a tall thin gentleman with blonde hair came over and spoke to me. I told him I had called that morning and was told we would be inside. She said due to the weather they were not sitting anyone

This place is adorable! It is close to my folks place and we've been here many times, but I haven't reviewed it yet, I guess! The wine doesn't disappoint and they have appetizers and flatbreads available.
There is a large outdoor covered area where they host events (today it was a baby shower). They also have music/bands that caters to the 55+ crowd. We got here at 3pm and the disco ball was lit up shortly after, very fun!!!
It may be too warm to sit outside in the summer, but in December, it was perfect weather to sit outside and listen to disco with a wine and a snack. The atmosphere

We couldn't have asked for anything better. Erinn and Cliff bent over backwards to make sure that our special day was exactly that, special. Erinn made sure that every small detail was taken care of. The venue was beautiful and the food was phenomenal. I would recommend this place for any type of gathering.

Whispering Oaks Winery is a great place to visit. Went the other day for a 6 pour sampling and the steak dinner that they offer on Fridays and Saturdays. The Ribeye was cooled just right and all of the blueberry wines are very good. The staff and owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. They have inside and outside seating and have live entertainment too. If you find yourself in this area, I highly recommend that you stop by to check it out. Even if you are not in the area, it is worth the drive.

This place is beautiful. 5 stars for location . But the food and service weren’t so great. The Chick working at the bar seemed to be annoyed and irritated about us and other customers asking questions about the food and wine. We just hurried up ordered the food, ate it and left the place quickly.
We were going to buy a few bottles of wine for the wife but didn’t not want to bother the chick that work here because of her unfriendly attitude. Most likely I wouldn’t come back here again. If I do, hope they have someone new

We had a lot of fun here at the winery. We came on a weekday and basically had the whole place to ourselves. The winery is blueberry based (which means red wines) the tours are free, and you can come into the restaurant, they give you options as to how many wines you would like to try. I believe at most you can try 8 wines for a good price. They have an outdoor patio with a koi pond or you can sit inside. I recommend making the trip up here!

Very dissatisfied, went for Mother's Day, expecting a real treat from previous reviews! Nothing more than an open BBQ pit, portions were tiny, very rushed all throughout the meal, we had a 3 course meal and were done within an hour! Surf and turf was one very small medallion and 4 shrimp, Blueberry cobbler was nothing more than Angel cake with blueberries on top, plus the cook wasn't wearing gloves while picking up raw food and wiping his hands on a filthy cloth! Definitely wasn't worth the almost $40 per head. Will not return

I wanted to like this place so much but they let me down...It was my fiancé's birthday, I booked on Open Table and they didn't acknowledge even though it must've been right there on what they were reading bc the lady found my reservation. Anyway we met the owner, he was cool and told us the story behind his blueberry wine. The port was very good. Christian liked the oak-y one. It was entertaining. Guy on the guitar was pretty cool!

We loved this place. We sampled the blueberry wines and absolutely loved them. Our favorites were the Oak Barrel Reserve, Delightfully Dry, and Tango. Service was fantastic, and the steaks were cooked perfect over a bed of hot coals on the back patio grill. The warm blueberry cobbler desert served with whipped cream and ice cream was delicious! This place had live music and great relaxed atmosphere. We felt like we had discovered a great little secret getaway spot. My wife and I will definitely be back!!

After an entertaining and informative tour, we chose a wine to start. The driest was most expensive, and being somewhat frugal (my wife might choose a different word), I selected a wine called "Delightfully Dry." It almost was.
This was Steak Night. We (three couples) selected ribeyes, tenderloin fillets or Mahi Mahi. All grilled over wood near our outside table.

Went for the weekend dinner and it was such a treat! Great space outside with music on a warm night made for a lovely evening amongst friends. The meat eaters loved their slabs, the fish eaters had some nice salmon and the vegetarians could opt for a plate of vegetables. I wish the latter option were more interesting but the ambiance overshadowed any shortcomings.
The flight of 4 blueberry wines for $5 is an excellent sampler as is the blueberry cobbler for dessert.
They've also got some nice appetizers available if you didn't want to order the full meal.

This is it. Do your soul a favor and make plans to enjoy this rare gem.
1) The views are stunning outside.
2) The views are stunning inside as the main restaurant is a redesigned horse's stable!!
3) Blueberry wine is healthier in antioxidant levels than 80% of red wine and at least equal to the other 20%.
My partner and I were able to indulge in a 6 drink flute while speaking with the couple that owned the winery. They shared amazing facts about blueberry wine, the history behind the location and also helped us plan the 2nd half of our road trip around Florida. She was so excited to continue

Absolutely a wonderful place, I've been going here for probably four or five years of changed ownership think Dondre job expanding and adding food adding beer and now they do music on a regular basis I would love to make it to one of the Friday or Saturday night steak night wonderful wines and I selection for everybody I must do on your track up and down Florida right at the intersection of the turnpike at I 75

A few things to remember before you visit this winery.......First and foremost make sure you try calling a few days ahead of time. But why you ask......wait for it.....wait for it......
Some days are different than others because even though seating is available you cannot be seated without reservations. You can't even get in the building without reservations. But why should I call a few days in advance you say??? Because they don't answer the phone and I would allow time to plan out your calling.
So think of it as more of a plan out in advance place

First time visiting this winery. We selected the Friday night dinner & Wine evening treat because we were looking for a nice romantic date experience but away from the same old city scene. We arrived and everyone was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. The owner, Johannes (Jon) came over and greeted us, gave us a quick history background and business origen. We started the evening with the wine tasting (see pic), with a sample of all the available wines. Once we were finished sampling the wines, we selected the ones we wanted to take a bottle home with us and places the order.

Today was national drink wine day. We decided to drive to the winery where my favorite Blueberry wine comes from. I purchase this wine at Fresh Market and Publix normally.
It is a small little place. The Wine of course is amazing. There was live music. We decided to stay for the dinner. Bone in ribeye, baked potato and green beans. Yummy!!! Nathan my son, got the porterhouse and was very happy. Ask for Debbie or Deborah she was our server the entire time and we loved her!!!
Tip: try the wine flight and add the port! I loved the port!!! We even took a bottle to go.

Great wine tasting experience. We are from California and on our first visit to Florida. We have never heard of any wines coming out of FL, so we figured we had to stop. We didn't realize they only sold blueberry wines until after they had started pouring and I asked about their grapes.
The owner was very informative and obviously proud of the success they have had. We ended buying a case. We plan to use a few the higher end wines to trick our CA friends during blind tastings, and the sweeter stuff will be great during the summer.
The best part, though, might be the huge open grounds
