Services
Dr. Turner graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University in 1995, a Master's degree from Augusta State University in 2000, and a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia in 2001. Dr. Turner practiced as a general dentist in Hiram, Georgia for 4 years.
In 2005, Dr. Turner attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas to further his education in treating the comprehensive dental needs of children.He completed his Pediatric Dental Residency in 2007 and moved back to Georgia to practice pediatric dentistry. In addition, he is part-time faculty in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia where he is a clinical instructor.

The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.
We support the recommendation by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry that your child should visit the dentist by his or her first birthday. Your child's first visit to the dentist is very important and we promise to make it a great experience! We are excited to meet you and your child at this appointment.

The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.
Some children are given nitrous oxide/oxygen, or what you may know as laughing gas, to relax them for their dental treatment. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child's nose, allowing them to relax, but without putting them to sleep.

Dr. Turner and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I drive all 3 of my kids 30 minutes past many other dentist to go to his office. With proper scheduling they will see all 3 of my kids at the same time saving me the back and forth for regular cleanings. The staff is so kind and my kids actually look forward to going to the dentist. The office is so kid friendly, TV's in every patient area, colorful artsy walls & free treats from the vending machine bring them coming back too. Dr. Turner's office partnering the Depew Ortho who I highly recommend too.

A great office if your kids don’t have any dental problems! This was my absolute favorite dentist and I wouldn’t have imagined taking my kids anywhere else for their dental care, until a few months ago when we went in for a routine cleaning and my son was found to have a few cavities in his back teeth. Instead of offering to help us and do his job, Dr Turner made it seem like he couldn’t help my son and needed to refer us to another specialist an hour away from home. So not knowing any better, I took my son to the specialist he recommended, only to find out that Dr Turners office does perform

This is the absolute best pediatric dentist office around! The environment itself is amazing, but the staff is beyond expectation! Everyone we come into contact with is so sweet as well as informative. My kids actually wish they could come to the dentist more! We tried another office after we moved to a different home, but it didn’t even compare and I have no problem driving a little further back to Turner!

I can't say enough great things I wish I could give them 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! Dr Turner and his staff were so great. My dude isn't anti-dentist but didn't want to cooperate with the X-Rays and they were all very patient and kind to get him comfortable. The turn around time for making an appointment is really quick and that's hard to find, I would definitely recommend this place!

Very warm and friendly on the phone. This was our first time going today and everyone was nice in person too. They put my sons name on a chalk board welcoming him in! They have video games in the waiting area and a TV in the room. My son has a lot of anxiety at the dentist, but the tech made him feel at ease. This will be our regular dentist going forward.

There really are places that deserve more than five stars. This is a phenomenal pediatric dental practice! Everyone is very friendly and adaptable to how well your child does during the visit. The waiting room has a play area and some video games for older kids, along with books. And during the cleaning, kids are able to watch a show or movie. Dr. Turner and the staff are wonderful. Highly, highly recommended!

This office is amazing. The front desk staff and hygienists all go the extra mile to make sure my toddlers are comfortable. Both my kiddos have been coming since they were 2, and even though we moved we make the drive to see Dr.Turner. My kids actually like going to the dentist! My daughter had her first filling done today, it was smooth and painless (according to my 4yr old) and we were in and out in under an hour. I highly recommend this office.
