It is difficult when a friend or family member passes away. We're very sorry for your loss, and we understand that you're faced with a lot of decisions that can be overwhelming. We're here to help you sort through the information and take some of the burden from your shoulders. Make a list of friends, family and associates to contact and delegate a friend or family member to notify each person by phone.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

Megan Cole coordinated the funeral service and transportation to Woodlawn Cemetary in the Bronx, NY for my mother who died of a stroke in June 2020, when six other funeral homes would not assist me. She was supportive and helpful at each step as she coordinated with me and my brother. She had lots of useful advice during these unusual times. Thank you so much!

Megan and A.J. Cole cared for my daughter in the way they would care for their own dear family member. They offered suggestions that were tasteful and economical. They even made suggestions to discuss when speaking with the cemetery. I was already aware of their church based funerals from my church. Megan and A.J. come well recommended from our pastor. This was the first time my family had need of their services. I would definitely recommend Coles to others and I would use them again when the need arises.

Cole funeral services was recommended by a priest from the Parish that I go to. I'm glad that I went to them when my mom passed. Kimberlee was extremely helpful from the first meeting to post service. She was great in dealing with my needs, very responsive whenever I have questions and compassionate. I planned my mom's funeral by myself and with her around, everything went on smoothly.

The kindest, most patient people we have met. After dealing with my sisters illnes for so many years, we almost forgot all the good. The Cole’s helped us remember her for who she really was and to celebrate her memory without making us feel like we had to buy a bunch of stuff. They cared for us and what was really important.

Cole Funeral services are the best! I just lost my baby twins at 18 weeks gestational age and chose to bury them! The hospital recommended cole funeral services! They were more than what I expect them to be. Professional, sympathetic, caring and very punctual! Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Megan and AJ Cole were professional, caring, compassionate and supportive. They handled every detail of my father's burial and funeral. They welcomed involving all of my family members in the planning process and were extremely patient during this difficult time. They were both easy to reach at every step of planning. Their prices were reasonable, and I felt a huge sense of relief knowing throughout the process we were all in good hands.

AJ Cole and his associates brought warmth, sensitivity, and humor to difficult and unexpected circumstances. He truly understands the deeper meaning, significance, and beauty of a loved one's passing, and he brings that understanding and sensitivity to his work. His fees were extremely reasonable as well, which was appreciated as our family had not planned in advance for the event of our father's passing. My family and I wish to thank him from our hearts for all that he did for us during that important time.

This was a very difficult time for me and my wife. We had a stillbirth and wanted to have a burial. We contacted AJ Cole at the recommendation of holy cross. He was extremely helpful. We wanted to do a Jewish burial, so he recommended several cemeteries in the area. He even went the extra mile to get us a wooden Jewish coffin which he did not have in stock. He met with us when we wanted and paperwork was easy. His fees were very reasonable considering our circumstances and he was very sympathetic.
Honestly I never thought I would ever review a funeral home on yelp, but I just wanted to

Cole Funeral Services was absolutely amazing with handling my father's passing. They were prompt and effective in managing all the details removing that worry for us. More importantly was the emotional support that they provided my mother and I. I came in from out of town and did not have a chance to say good bye to my dad while he was alive. AJ took me to the crematory so I could see my dad one last time. He waited patiently, giving me all the time I needed. For my mother, who was unprepared for my father's passing, AJ and his wife were incredibly supportive and helped her understand

So I can't get my whole issue leading up to this video to fit on here. Please find my Facebook page (Heather Abbott) and you can see it all.
Here are the main points that are addressed in the video:
My baby boy passed away from Trisomy 13 after a beautiful 6 hours and 9 minutes. Mr. Cole had offered his services to pick up our son 24 hours a day and have him cremated for $200. That was his offer.
I can't tell you how long he waited at the hospital for, we only asked for 5 extra minutes with our son before leaving
