Despite our best intentions, the foods we consume and even chemicals in our environment can cause unpleasant and persistent reactions in our body. Our immune system, whose function is to keep out unwanted bacteria and viruses, sometimes mount an attack against non-infectious particles.

Why this happens is not always known, but it can lead to annoying or even debilitating conditions that disrupt our quality of life as the immune system fights to rid our bodies of these "invaders, " so to speak. While it might be easy to identify one or two foods that the body is reacting to by doing a simple elimination diet, oftentimes there are multiple foods and/or chemicals causing problems.
Most major insurance plans accepted. Benefits may vary, so please check with your insurance provider regarding nutrition benefits prior to your appointment. If your insurance plan does not cover nutrition counseling, please inquire about our cash discount rates for payment at time of service. Discounts are also offered for multiple visit packages.
Oh the PSL. A Fall favorite. If you automatically know what PSL is, I'm talking to you. Even if you don't you should still listen up. Besides the very popular Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) that makes its grand entrance every Fall, there are many other flavored coffee drinks that tempt us this time of year.

It wasn't a good experience. I asked for information about doing the keto diet and she said she really didn't know much about the diet. This has been around for decades and every nutritionist should understand it and what to recommend. I had a lot of questions and left not knowing anymore than I did before the appointment. I contacted her afterwards to tell her this and she sent me recipes I could have found on Pinterest.

Its was fast and easy to get an appointment. Danielle seems to be nice. She's not to pushy thats good when in a vulnerable space of needing food nutrition goals.

She was super friendly, reassuring and simple. She didn't try to crowd up my routine with needless supplements and point fingers at all the things I'm doing wrong or not doing. She was encouraging and to the point. I'm sure I was an easy case but I've had other people try to sucker me into future appointments where as she covered as much as she could into the 1 appointment which showed an attribute of honesty.

I have been blown away at how much help Danielle has given my family. Our lives have literally been transformed. We discovered that my daughter has many food sensitivities and Danielle has been able to answer our myriad questions through the whole testing process, as well as through the "detox" and new diet process. Not only does she provide us with the scientific information, she also has given me a lot of guidance insofar as what on Earth I could now cook for my daughter. (I am not a good cook, and having half of my ingredients taken away by these food sensitivities was really something

Struggling to get to the root of my stomach problems and trying to figure out how I can repair my immune system through food I knew I needed support. I am so glad I stumbled across Danielle at Food/Sense Nutrition while googling for a Dietitian. Reviewing her website, I knew rather quickly I wanted to make an appointment and so glad I did! Danielle, goes beyond the call of duty to ensure my needs, questions and concerns were met! I have been suffering multiple stomach issues for about 3 years now, she encouraged me to to take the MRT blood test and follow the LEAP diet program and since then

Danielle at Food/Sense was so helpful when trying to figure out my food allergies and migraines. I first found her after I received a skin allergy test for food and I wanted to learn more about how to eat with allergies. She is a wealth of knowledge, kind, and really goes that extra mile to help! She had me take the MRT test, a blood draw to test for quick response food allergies. When the results came back, I was completely overwhelmed. She was supportive during this process and patient with answering my questions. She literally closed the loop to my migraines that I had struggled with for 2 years
