In order to make the transition to our office smoother for you, we have created a New Patient Center with everything you need to get started.
Prior to prescribing contact lenses, Dr. Lerner determines what level of vision correction you require. Refractive error (commonly known as nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism depending on the error) is evaluated by measuring how the eyes focus when a series of different lenses are placed in front of them.
At Lerner Vision Care, LLC, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by a licensed optometrist.

Dr. Lerner is truly amazing! I had an emergency come up and needed my eyes checked ASAP. Dr. Lerner took me in right away and treated me with so much kindness. Her exam was so thorough, she made me feel so comfortable and did whatever she could to help me even though it was a very busy day with other patients. If you’re looking for a eye doctor, definitely visit Dr. Lerner.

The team at Lerner Vision Care was professional and efficient. I had not been to Dr. Lerner in 5 years and was in a bit of a hurry and the team was understanding and whisked me through with an extremely comprehensive examination. Moreover, checkout was quick and painless and they even offered (which I took them up on) to submit my results to the MVA (which was completed in 2 minutes).

Had a great experience here today! It had been a while since I had my eyes examined and I went to Dr Lerner after a few years of not so great experiences with other places because she is the best. I'll drive 30-40 minutes to see her because she is thorough, has the latest technology, and knows her stuff! The office was pristine, everything was smooth in terms of payment, and safety measures were strictly adhered to, which is always comforting. Outstanding experience. As a first timer at Lerner Vision Care, the staff were great. Checking in was smooth. After some tests, Dr. Lerner came in, she was professional, kind, and very attentive and focused. She wanted to double check, so we repeated a couple of the tests and she rechecked. It took a bit longer, but I was so happy to have a thorough check up. Dr. Lerner is warm and friendly. Not only was it a great experience, but I'll return with my mom. Dr. Lerner exudes kind, caring, professionalism. She had a question about one of my eye-tests so she took the time to have me repeat it. We were there yesterday with my daughter Cansu. She needed a new prescription for her eyes. When we entered there were two ladies in front desk and they were attentive and nice. Then one took her inside to do the first checks for her eyes with some machines. And then at right moment doctor Marie Lerner came to see my daughter. She was really professional and answered all questions we asked about her eye sight. We really liked her a lot. She likes what's she doing and that matters for us. Wonderful first-time experience here. I opted for the normal vision exam plus extra two tests since it had been a long long time since I've had my vision checked. Everything was super easy and Dr. Lerner was so friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the whole appointment. Wonderful staff there as well and I'll definitely be coming back for all my eye care needs.

Overall great experience. As soon as I was done filling out he paperwork, I was taken back for testing. A few minutes after the testing was completed, Dr. Lerner was ready to see me. I was interested in wearing contacts for reading. Dr. Lerner was very patient in finding the right contacts to allow me to read with one eye and see distance with other (monovision). Would 100% recommend. Two thumbs up!!

After I got my new glasses, I realized I couldn't see very well. Life happened and after a few months, I had the glasses checked. Once the desk clerk saw I purchased my glasses at Warby Parker, her tone changed. She asked if I had read their policy and pointed to the sign. I agreed to the $25 re-exam fee. Dr. Lerner said the prescription in the glasses matched hers but when she tested me, the prescription was different. She said they'd ship my glasses to Florida and replace the lenses.

I saw Dr. Ross and she was great. Very knowledgeable and thorough. I got there early and was taken early when someone didn't show for their appointment. The front desk woman was also very professional and kind. I thought they did a good job for a basic eye exam and it wasn't overpriced for those without vision insurance.

Had my first appointment here the other day. Their new office is really nice and conveniently walkable for anyone who lives in downtown Bethesda. The staff and doctor were all nice and it was a quick appointment not much of a wait. They also have a large selection of namebrand glasses to choose from. Right across the street from True Food restaraunt on Wisconsin.

Setting an appt was easy and they called and texted with reminders. Associates at the office were very proactive in asking what they could help me with and made sure I felt confident that they could help with whatever I needed.
I arrived early and the Optometrist was available precisely at the time my appt was scheduled for so I didn't have to wait at all. She was very friendly, professional, attentive and efficient. Unlike my previous optometrist, she didn't try to sell me on any products or pressure me in any way. She just listened to and addressed my needs.

Dr. Lerner's pleasant, but I gotta chime in as another patient facing billing issues. Received a bill for a visit from the previous year under different insurance. The administrative staff were polite but purported to have left multiple voicemails. While sorting through the problem, I was informed by my old insurance company that LVC had tried to file the same claim twice, and the real amount due thanks to in-network discounts was less than what I was actually invoiced. Enough suspect details that I'll probably take my eyeballs elsewhere from now on.

Upon the recommendation of a colleague, I set up an eye appointment. It's close to the Bethesda Metro and they are very customer service oriented. I didn't have to wait long upon check-in and my appointment went smoothly. The eye doctor and her entire staff are super friendly and helpful.
