They are taking care of my mom and calming her down and it is a comfort to me to not have to worry. The caregivers seem to connect with my mom, they are friendly and attentive! We did a test run one day, and we were happy with how professional they were. My dad liked them. There has been continuity of care, so the same person comes by.

Our care team has the expertise and experience in assisting families dealing with memory loss issues, hospice care and other conditions that require more intensive one-on-one assistance. The specialty caregivers at Providence Care are familiar with the needs of Alzheimer\'s and dementia patients.
This decreases the number of people the caregiver has contact with that could inadvertently expose you to germs. We found ourselves in need of 24/7 care for our mother who was suddenly placed in Hospice. Within 10 hours of our call for help (on a Sunday morning), we had our first Provident Care Professional at our door. They continued rolling through every 12, 8 or 6 hours, depending on availability. Each was professional, caring, and knowledgeable of how to care for a patient needing end-of-life care. Each Provident Professional was able to interact with the family members who were usually present or napping in the next room. Provident Care provided 24-hour home care for my friend who was also under Hospice care. From the first contact with the home care manager Tami to the final caregiver, everyone I met was respectful, considerate and responsive, willing and able to meet our needs immediately. While the caregivers were responsible for a range of duties, the most important was the physical care of my friend. They were attentive and compassionate, treating her gently and tenderly, protecting her dignity while completing the many tasks of caring for a non-ambulatory patient. Provident was easy to work with and the caregivers were patient and kind. Jennifer, who coordinated care, was efficient, warm, and made my parents, who were very reluctant to have in-home help (but needed either that or assisted living), feel comfortable. They helped make a difficult time much better, allowing us to relax, knowing our mom was getting good care.

They have taken care of me since we moved here from Reno, NV, a year ago last March.I use a wheelchair due to polio and need assistance in many basic situations of care. The staff has always been prompt and concerned about my care. I have had a particular amazing care giver for six months now, even in this time of crisis! My mother has needed a caregiver part-time since 2009, and we have been very happy with Provident Care. She has had several different caregivers since then, and all of them were top-notch in terms of being caring and competent. We have never had a bad experience. I did hire people independently without an agency at one point, and the experience was mixed to bad. Special thanks to Jen in the Walnut Creek office who has been coordinating her care recently.

We have used Provident Care to provide caregivers for our parents for almost three years (24/7). We have had some great caregivers including the ones currently here. They are interactive, dependable and knowledgeable in their required duties. We appreciate these truly compassionate caregivers and would definitely recommend them.

As a senior private caregiver for twenty year's in Modesto working in many private homes with excellent reference letters from my clients and families many are professionals I was discouraged how I was treated with Provident Care. I was given a 10 second response to a in home service after working an all night shift and responded five minutes later the job was gone. I was never contacted afterward. Most of my clients like an older worker at my current job at another agency. I never had a chance to show them how well I connect with seniors.

I do not recommend this company, they should go out of business as awful as they are. Raj and Tammy are incompetent and if you call them they'll either show up unannounced or not send anyone when you need them and then claim you're cancelling (I've had a few times where I cancelled and the manager Raj shows w/ a new caregiver-always new ones when I've called and cancelled the day(s) before but their secretaries, or whoever they are, don't relay the messages even when I emphasis to make sure they let them know. Most of the caregivers they've been sending are lazy, obese

They are angels here on earth. Christine, Tami, Kat and Raj were wonderful. They helped set us up as my father required 24/7 care to leave the hospital and be able to go home. Caregivers were there to help. Jennifer in particular was great. She ensured my father drank enough, ate, did his physical therapy, was comfortable, and assisted him in walking to ensure he did not fall. He recovered and is still healing, but is no longer in need of 24/7 care. If it were not for the above people I mentioned, my father would have died. Thank you so much P.C. I recommend this company to anyone who needs help

They were super professional and asked a lot of important questions before sending someone over. Then they set up an initial interview with my family member so that everyone was comfortable with the level of help and the person giving the care. This has been a great experience, during such a stressful time. My family member is better now, and won't need Provident anymore, but if she needs more help in future I will definitely be calling them again. Many thanks to the staff for all the help!

The only reason this company is getting a 2 is because of Christine Hankins, and the only care giver Cassandra (goes by Cassie) that actually showed up. If I can rate those 2 professional service separate from the rest of this company they would get 5 stars and the company would get zero.
