Everyone experiences difficulty with anger at some point. Relationship stress, parenting issues, financial or work pressures, loss, sudden changes or transitions and trauma, all put enormous strain on your capacity to cope.

Anxiety, stress and worry, anger, prolonged cycles of conflict, fighting and withdrawal, depression, sadness, loneliness, grief, sexual frustration and isolation- when these negative feelings dominate your life, you feel out of control, and you are unable to find joy, happiness, satisfaction or fulfillment.
Services
I currently have a private practice in both Albany, California (directly connected to North Berkeley), and in the San Francisco Mission District, where I see individuals and couples, and lead groups. I am a member of the Northern California Group Psychotherapy Society.

I also work with organizations (Kaiser, Tenderloin Health), have taught group dynamics at CIIS in San Francisco, and I lead workshops in the San Francisco Bay Area, Denmark and Holland, Norway, & Switzerland.
Everyone experiences difficulty with anger at some point. Relationship stress, parenting issues, financial or work pressures, loss, sudden changes or transitions and trauma, all put enormous strain on your capacity to cope. The people who contact me for anger management are typically good, well-intentioned people who have had an incident or incidents that reveal that they have difficulty containing anger.
Are you feeling isolated or disconnected from others or have a hard time making meaningful relationships?. Do you have a hard time making good choices or focusing your life energy on what really matters to you?.

Anxiety, stress and worry, anger, prolonged cycles of conflict, fighting and withdrawal, depression, sadness, loneliness, grief, sexual frustration and isolation: When these negative feelings dominate your life, you feel out of control, and you are unable to find joy, happiness, satisfaction or fulfillment.Learn tested tools that give you control of your emotional life, so that you can feel better-sometimes even after a first session.
I have more than twenty years successful experience helping couples and individuals restore their sense of connection and relationship vitality. I help you see that it is not your fault, but rather a consequence of the power of the cycle that grips you. You will learn about the roots of the cycle learned in early relationships, but not dwell there.
I specialize in creating a unique environment for men's personal growth. Men's psychology acknowledges that men have a unique journey that benefits from a unique setting. Men often feel under-appreciated for their passion to engage the world through creativity, work and in relationships. Men long to be a part of something larger and often feel isolated and left out of community.
