At Yucaipa Valley Optometry, we offer comprehensive exams that cover all aspects of your vision and eye health. We start with questions regarding your daily life and any symptoms you may be experiencing at home or at work. We also take record of your vision, medications, and overall health. Then our optometrists perform a visual exam to take a look at your eye and eyelids.
When choosing contacts, we will go over your options to decide the best type of lenses for your eyes, especially if you have any conditions that don't make you a good candidate for regular contact lenses. Regular contact lenses are the easiest to fit. During your pre-fitting exam, we will take many measurements to determine the size you need.

Dr Saunders and his staff are great! I just finished my first visit and was really impressed. I’ve been to other eye doctors in Yucaipa and I believe Dr Saunders is the best. The other places wanted to charge for every little exam/test and tried to upsell more tests and some even said they ‘found issues’ with my eyes that needed yet further tests all which came back negative. He is an excellent, funny and honest eye dr. I paid my $10 copay and that was it. Although their glasses selection is great, there is Zero pressure to buy glasses from them; they hand you the prescription. I am relieved

I had an appointment for 9 am I called them at 8:35 am informing them I would be 5 min late. The girl said they would not be able to see me as they were booked solid and had no room for if I was late. What a waste of my time I was driving from work in Riverside to see them. 60 min of my time gone good thing I called or it would have been 2 hours lost. Re schedule hell no I will just go somewhere else!

I am not one to leave reviews ever, because I’m lazy. But I literally left this office SMILING I had such an incredible experience. Dr.Saunders, Helen, and the rest of his staff were amazing. SO unbelievably friendly, personable, professional, kind. I was very picky in choosing a new eye doctor but couldn’t wIt to call my husband to tell him how much I look forward to this office being our new home optometrist!! If I could leave more stars I would lol!!!!! If you’re considering a new eye doctor - do not hesitate and try Dr.Saunders our. AMAZING AMAZING!!!

Excellent staff, and Dr. George Saunders is the very best. For nearly ten years he has been my optometrist, and he has never disappointed. He always treats my eyecare with top priority, getting me the results that I want, and on top of his skill as an optometrist he is remarkably friendly and very funny. Highly recommended!

The Service is excellent. So many frames to choose from. Dr. George Saunders is the best. Not only is he very humorous he is an excellent Doctor. He is the Doctor that first noticed problems with our sons vision and got us the further help we needed from a specialist. He is very knowledgeable. We love this optometry office. I have been seeing Dr. Saunders for over 20 years. When he relocates, I follow. I find drops and contacts being put in my eyes to be anxiety inducing but somehow Dr. Saunders makes it peaceful. His exam room is quiet and calming. His waiting room is classy with a rather extensive selection of frames. I have never met an employee at Yucaipa Valley Optometry that was less than exemplary.
