AtRidge has been a landscaping and irrigation company for over 20 years. Owner, Joel Atkinson started out in college as a way to earn tuition dollars. Eventually, he decided to pursue small business ownership full-time as his little business had grown into a full-time job. Over the years, we have spent the time to learn new things, obtain licenses and certifications in order to be leaders in this industry; knowledgeable in all things green.
With over 20 years of experience owning and managing AtRidge, Joel oversees the direction of the company and its culture. Joel and his amazing wife have been blessed with four children. Outside of work, Joel enjoys traveling with his family, and serving at his church. With experience in the landscape industry for almost 30 years, Jim specializes in the details surrounding bringing a job together.
I heard about AtRidge Landscape and Irrigation from a friend when we were in the process of putting in our pool. The referral came at the perfect time since we hadn't even looked into what to do with the yard after the pool was installed and our pool company didn't work with a landscape company directly.
AtRidge uses the Florida-Friendly Landscaping (FFL) Program from the University of Florida to guide our landscaping services. Through adherence to this set of standards, we express our commitment to environmental sustainability while reducing the need for maintenance.

Over the course of 4 years now years now I have observed your crew managed by a gentleman named Elbert. I am an owner resident at the 250 unit Bal Harbor condominiums in Largo. The thing that I have noticed is it that the team respects Elbert. He leads by example. He is careful to make sure that his crew nows how to effectively use the various pieces of equipment assigned to them. Whenever something doesn't go particularly well to Elbert's liking he is quick to take the tool and demonstrate to them the best way to handle that particular machine. I'm so glad I got in touch with these guys! They are amazing and thorough. They fixed my Rainbird sprinkler system and checked out everything, replacing sprinkler heads where needed. They went above and beyond and I'll use them again when it is time to rework the system when we install a pool.

Amazing service! I had no idea where to start when I contacted At Ridge. I knew my front yard needed to be updated in preparation for the sale of my home, but that's where my thought process ended. Landscaping and gardening are not areas of strength for me, and I was nervous about overpaying or making decisions outside of my comfort zone. The staff at At Ridge put my worries to rest and made the process simplistic and stressfree. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and never pressured me to extend my budget. Professional and reliable. They do great work, show up when they say they will and have fair and honest prices. I have been using Atridge since they designed the landscaping and irrigation for my new home over 5 years ago. They also do seasonal preparation and maintenance.
