If you are considering on renting here please beware that parking is a first come first serve basis. In our tour of the complex they said there were maybe 15-25 open spots at night inside the gated area but to be honest I found that hard to believe. Parking on the side streets were already packed. Also it did appear that the mail room was under construction after the mail break ins.
My main issue was the application fee of $250 that was not refundable and it was not made clear to us as we are first time renters. The management personal told us initially if we didn't get accepted we would get a

I lived here for two years, and my experience was great! I lived in a studio and they have the best layout, that maximizes the space. The apartment building is pretty quiet, maintenance gets to things quickly when you need something fixed, and I liked the pool area (pre-Covid). I didn't use the gym. The apartment is located next to the Iron Horse trail, which is excellent to bike to downtown or Danville. If you drive, it's right by the freeway on ramp. Now the downside. It's far from Bart and the shuttle is annoying. Street parking doesn't exist and ever six months you won't be able to find a space

After accepting a new position and needing to move from SoCal to NorCal, my family and I went on adventure to apartment hunt in Walnut Creek. The Retreat was my final stop and one that I had been eyeing for a while. Lavneet greeted us at the door and gave us a tour around the building and apartments that were vacant to look at. My transition from my previous residence to The Retreat was a 5-star experience - thanks wholly to Courtney. I asked a lot of questions and she provided me with lots of helpful and timely answers. Courtney is professional, kind, experienced and genuine. For that, I am most thankful.

My girlfriend and I have been apartment hunting around Walnut Creek among a few other towns the past 2 months. You'd be surprised that a lot of place don't even bother to call you or email you back. The Retreat and Liset have been very prompt on our transition moving in and were very clear with the process. She answered all my questions and always calls me back if I needed anything. Thank you very much, we look forward to moving in soon.

My boyfriend and I just moved into The Retreat and so far we are in love with our apartment. The fountains are pretty, the pool and fire pits are awesome, and the gym is great! What really sold us on the property though was the staff...and I've had my fair share of not so amazing property managers/ landlords. Anitasha K. at The Retreat is AMAZING. You have a problem? She gets it done. Throughout the move in process I have appreciated the fact that she takes the time to get to know the residents. She is professional, proactive, great at communicating, and understanding. I cannot say enough nice

I am in transition of moving soon. I went over to The Retreat without an appointment and I was politely asked to wait it the Business lounge. I was offered coffee and access to wifi. I just wanted to point, the above and beyond customer service at this location. My tour was with Anitasha, she was extremely polite, patient, and knowledgeable. I enjoyed experience and I look forward to making The Retreat my new home soon. I will be sure to share the great information of the property with my family and friends! Our experience in touring the available apartments with leasing agent Liset was very positive. She was very informative and explained the rules regarding reserved and open parking, available permits for the reserved spaces, the package receiving and notification system, the process to submit maintenance requests, and other general questions. We decided to lease a 3rd floor apartment which has 10' ceilings and a nice view of the pool. The non-reserved parking spaces are clearly marked. We decided to lease an extra parking space, in addition to the one open space that is assigned to the apartment

I have been struggling with finding a decent place for my move in April. I had the pleasure of taking a tour of The Retreat Apartments and I was pleasantly surprised! Please disregard the 2 star review this apartment complex has because it certainly deserves a 5 star rating. The apartment itself is beautiful, the grounds are landscaped well and from the looks of it have been kept up accordingly. Anitasha is an absolute doll!
