In 2007, and again, in 2008 HCR was presented with the IPRO Quality Award for exemplary performance in reducing avoidable acute care hospitalizations and improving oral medication management; and ranking within the top 10% of all NYS Medicare-certified home health providers for both measures.

Home health care can also be paid on a private basis by patients and families. HCR provides each patient with the associated cost of care before commencing with service.

I recently had an illness and had to be in the hospital for approximately 3 1/2 weeks. I had nurses from your organization come to my home to get me back on my feet. I had lost a lot of my muscle mass and stamina during my stay at hospital, plus had some medical needs. Your nurses from the North Country region are excellent!

I helped Virginia Deragisch a client of yours. From the get go the staff came to Ginni’s apartment and accessed her took action to help her. Her nurse manager Shannon Foos was a sweetheart! She was pro-active in Ginni’s care and very compassionate. Every time I had questions or had concerns, I’d call her and within a few minutes she would return my calls! Sometimes I felt intrusive with my phone calls, but she would put my conscience at ease and calm my fears. Ginni just loved her! She was the best!♥️ Thank you Shannon!! Allison Fennell was Ginni’s Social worker, she too was sweet and

This place has been such a wonderful experience for my son and myself. The staff has been like family... If I ever had a concern I'd address it and they handled it. I would definitely recommend HCR to someone who has a family member that's in need of therapy and or nursing assistance... Thank you guys for helping out

Clinton County office is mismanaged. No one returns calls. Refused to resume services for my 83 year old father after a four day hospital admission and told the hospital discharge planner to refer him to Hospice! Completely illegal. Never called my father to inform him. Never formally discharged him. Completely disgusted with the office service. Very unprofessional. The in home staff was mostly ok.

I have worked for HCR for over 3 years, this is a company that puts their employees and patients first above everything else. Senior Leadership always has their door open for you to talk to them about anything. We have a diverse culture within the company and strive to give our patients the best quality care. I would recommend all of my family and friends to work here.

I joined the company over 4 years ago because their mission and values aligned with my own. HCR Home Care is both a patient focused company and an employee focused company that is always looking for ways to improve and lead the rest of the home care community. Needless to say, I love what I do and am proud to be part of the HCR Home Care team.

I have never had such an amazing team .Especially My Nurse Valerie, She is so thorough and gets back to you when she says she is.Takes time to make you feel like more then just a number. When some nurses like her risk their own health and safety of their families with this Covid. All nurses my option should be recognized. Patient on palliative care.

As an employee in the beginning it was okay but as time went on I started to see their true colors. They cater more to employees who they consider their favorites and were willing to tell false information on you. Reporting back to them making you lose your job! Almost going at two years with them and never was truely valued as a employee like I thought I was. Also being hired for having certification as a nursing assistant and convert to hha for them also felt hourly rate didn't meet my experience.

HCR recently cared for my mother-in-law after a total knee replacement, and my grandmother-in-law, after she broke her hip. The nurses and therapists were so caring, professional, and helpful. They really encouraged both my MIL and GIL, which allowed them both to get back on their feet quickly. Thanks, HCR Home Care!!

First off, I have never worked for this company and, while I believe they probably give good care to their clients, I do not believe they are a good place to work. 2-3 years ago I supported a friend during an unemployment hearing against this company. They claimed she was fired for not following policy. Thing was, there WAS NO policy for what they were claiming. She sought help from the weekend supervisor who basically told her to "do the best she could." The administrative law judge saw through it and agreed with my friend..
