Services
Access To Home Care Services, Inc. is a family owned and operated Licensed Home Care Services Agency founded in 2011 by Michael and Amy McKay. We provide a variety of home care services including personal care aides, home health aides, homemaker/companion care and skilled nursing. We are also an approved provider of services under the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) Medicaid Waivers.
Access to Home Care has been a wonderful addition to Mom's in-home 'care team' for almost 2 years. It's truly taken a team, with all members working with the same focus, compassion and goals, to provide the care that has allowed Mom to maintain some independence while also offering support and help when independence is either no longer possible or safe.
Our Caregiver Recognition Program is used to recognize those caregivers who go above and beyond to meet the needs of our clients. They are the hard-working, dedicated, compassionate staff that help us achieve our goal of providing Quality Care Beyond Compare and we are happy to give them the recognition they deserve.
Personal Care Aides (PCA's) provide assistance with activities of daily living under the direct supervision of an RN. Our PCAs are certified by the NYS Department of Health, screened and highly trained. In addition to their initial training, we provide ongoing training to our PCAs to enhance their skills and ensure compassionate, quality care.
Homemaker/Companion Care is a great service to alleviate loneliness as well as provide some basic help. These services include simple companionship and socialization such as playing games, going for walks or conversating. In addition, this service can provide assistance with activities such as grocery shopping and running other errands, laundry, light housekeeping, medication reminders and meal preparation.

Access to Home Care is a great place to work. The Staff is AWESOME and very CARING in regards to the Safety of their Clients and Healthcare workers. All issues and concerns are handled and resolved in a professional manner by Staff. I am very pleased with and thankful for Access To Home Services in Auburn NY. Since Sept., 2017, when my mom fell and fractured her pelvis, her goal, as well as our family’s, has been for her to live again at home. The Home Waiver Program along with ATHCS has allowed her to do just that. With the help of Mom’s service coordinator, Joe, we were able to get Mom back home with the care she needs. We are especially impressed with their transition procedures from facility to home. I must say these home care agencies are a Joke. This access home care agency hires aides that have No vehicles to assist with patient Errands? Such as picking up prescription, grocery shopping etc! Then u are under assumption the aides are supposedly do these things and their Not! Note that if you are under MANY DRS. CARE AND YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN TIME FRAME OF THE AIDES SCHEDULE..VOILLE' THEY DROP YOU?? AND REPORT TO INSURANCE COMPANY U R NOT COOPERATING!!..? ADD ALL ABOVE MENTIONED. .AND WHAT DO YOU HAVE?..UNORGANIZED, INCOMPETENCE! ! THEY PROMISE THIS AND THAT...AND NOTHING HAPPENS? PERSONAL

I have worked for this company for almost 4 years. During that time we have grown from a company of 8 to a company of over 100. This agency truly cares about both the people they serve and the employee's who work for them. In 2018 we were voted the #1 Home care Agency by the Citizen Newspaper and also voted #3 in business customer service. This followed our 2nd place finish for 2017 best Home Care Agency. There are so many great people who work hard to make their communities and the lives of those in it a better place and I am happy to be a part of that.
