Services
Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique in which the massage therapist uses her feet to deliver a deep broad even massage. The movements are similar to a traditional Swedish massage but much deeper than a deep tissue massage. A stabilizing scarf attached to the massage table is used for both balance and stability, allowing for a slow, controlled, fluid and very relaxing massage.
The only form of insurance accepted for massage therapy at this time is No Fault Insurance. Along with your insurance information and claim number, you will need to provide a prescription stating the diagnosis from your physician. For all other insurance, a receipt will be provides upon request to submit to your insurance carrier or flex spending account.
An integrated massage combines various massage modalities into a customized session tailored to the individual's needs. The therapist develops a sense of which bodywork techniques the client responds best to by combining different massage styles and drawing from experience. This type of massage relies on the therapist being in tune with the client as well as being intuitive.
I suffer from degenerative arthritis and a number of other medical conditions that cause me chronic pain. Sometimes I feel so bound in pain I can scarcely move my body. Having discovered Jackie Fenton-Clark in 2005, I have become a steady client. Not only highly skilled but further profoundly gifted in her art, Jackie is a massage therapist of rare ability.

Always a great experience with a massage from Jackie. She is professional and attentive and makes sure to keep the room clean, comfortable and temperate.
The massage is very relaxing, but I've also has times where I've asked her to really dig deep for some tough knots (especially my shoulders) - and she makes that happen.
I've only had standard full body / deep tissue massages, but I understand that she offers reflexology as well.
