We all rely upon the ambulance to safely transport us to the hospital in the event of an emergency. However, many patients have chronic or age-related conditions that do not require emergency medical services, but which can be exacerbated by a simple car trip. Moreover, your vehicle likely lacks the life-saving tools that are standard to medical transportation, leaving you out of luck in the event of a medical emergency.
Care and comfort do not have to be compromised by individuals confined to traveling in a wheelchair. Whether you are traveling to and from a doctor's appointment, dialysis treatment, radiation therapy, an outpatient procedure, or even a family function, Alert Ambulance Service provides courteous attendants, certified mobility assistance vehicle operators and specially equipped wheelchair coach vehicles for your transportation needs.

My elderly father was scheduled for a test at the local hospital. He had to be transported from rehab. They were basically late when picking him up.
Test was over in about 45 minutes. We waited 3 hours for the return trip. I was told different pick up times every call we made.
Sad, if you are told the truth and not led on a wild goose chase you might be somewhat understanding.
Very very poor communication and service.

More than twice my mother has been done at the hospital after a blood transfusion and we have had to wait for your ambulance more than two hours to be transported back to the nursing home which is across the parking lot from the hospital. Horrible service. A 92 yr old woman,or man, should not have to be put through more stress than a hospital stay. Unfortunately by looking at your reviews you have not tried to improve your service. Not to mention your inflated prices to do so. Horrible!

If I could give them zero stars, I would... Terrible billing practices and very rude and inconsiderate employees. I had to use this service in an emergency to transfer my daughter. While I informed them that I was working with the insurance and a health advocate for the bill, they filed a claim with the county court to sue me! Do not use this service if you can help it! Pure extortion!

Where is the -5 star rating option? I guesss, 1 star is the lowest you can rate them, which is what they deserve. You have to watch out how they bill you. When they make mistakes due to their poor knowledge about medical billing,, they want to pin the responsibility on you! EVEN AFTER YOU TELL THEM THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET ANOTHER $1168 FOR A SERVICE (literally a taxi cab ride) THAT YOU DO NOT WANT OR NEED, THEY ASSURE YOU THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY, AND THEN THEY WHAM YOU WITH ANOUTRAGEOUS BILL! It happened before, that's why I was cautious about using their service.

I wish they would be more mindful of how they schedule their transportation for residents. I was finished with an appointment at 3:45 pm. I was told it would be an hour before I would receive transportation for a resident who clearly needs to be in bed. He's suffering with a stomach ache. After waiting ten minutes after pick up time, I was told it may be another hour. We were asked to leave the office by the receptionist. Now we are in the lobby waiting for maybe another hour. When I asked about the surety of that time, the representative said "that's what the dispatcher said"
