Brian and Jim were super helpful. I'm from out of town and my Supersix wasn't shifting right (I just had it serviced back home). Jim fixed my bike at a more than fair price. Knowledgeable, personable and reasonable! Great bike shop. I went there to have my bike tune-up and also recently brought in a new e-bike but I bought directly in the internet and ask for his help.

Very Rude! Went to purchase two electric bikes, and was told, Sir we have a mask policy ( while he was not wearing a mask ). I am unable to wear a mask due to medical condition hence why we were looking for an electric bike for me and a bike for my spouse. They did not ask for any explanation or try to accommodate just ask me to leave. So I gladly went to a different bike shop and gave them my money.

My Campagnola rear cassette shifter stopped working altogether. Fortunately for me Jim had the ultra low friction Campagnola cable and expertise needed to get it fixed super quick.
He also noticed my front derailer was a little inconsistent and diagnosed the problem with a deep dive solution to change the housing/head approach. So glad we have the Island Bicycles repair team readily available to keep bicyclists in our area pedaling happily. Yep, use ‘em.

We were shopping for 2 new bikes, so we stopped in because we like to support locally owned businesses, and this one had received good reviews. (My husband waited in the car because he forgot his mask.) Unfortunately, the experience was NOT good by a long shot. At first it didn't even look like the place was open - the store did not appear to have lights on, and there were only 1 or 2 cars in the back of the parking lot. I walked in the main entrance of the store and no one was there, so I waited a few minutes thinking someone would be coming to the front shortly, browsed a bit, but there wasn

Started with a broken spoke. But, guys saw the real problem, a hairline crack in the rim. Also, decided to get rear cassette replaced and a new chain. Job was done in just two days and the workmanship was outstanding. They definitely have a future repeat customer. Can’t wait until the showroom reopens.

These guys are great! Excellent customer service and they really know what they are talking about. We visited Oak Island with our family and rented bikes from Island Bicycles. They delivered the bikes and picked them up from our rental house with ease. They even helped my husband attach our bike trailer for the first time and gave us a few recommendations about things to do on the island. Not only do they know their industry, but they are some of the nicest people too. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Jim and his team are VERY knowledgeable and cater to guys that are considered "spandex crowd" while also servicing those casual riders who want to bike for fun and exercise. GREAT BALANCE! I don't write reviews, but after my experience, I had to write. The guys at Cycle Dynamics went above and beyond during my recent visit. The advice, the honesty in not over selling a bike we didn't need, and their over all pleasant demeanor during the transaction was truly a breath of fresh air. To top it off, the ol' wifey- bless her heart, bent the rim transporting the bike to the house in a golf cart in a minor fender bender. So back to Southport I go. These guys tried to save me some money and repair the wheel, but ultimately decided to replace the rim. But instead of making me wait, and wasting

When the jokers at the "other" bike shop appeared to not want my business, Cycle Dynamics took care of my bike issue immediately.
The results of Cycle Dynamic's repair is a smooth running bike, like new again!
I bought some other items here after seeing they did a quality and timely repair. Best selection of parts and bikes here in the area.
Keep up the good work, it's hard to find good service for anything in the area.
It's not hard to find, look for the building with a barb wire fence all around, and don't get scared away by that fence.
