Very good restaurant. The staff is very friendly, very efficient. The soups are out of this world. My favorite, the Southwestern Chicken Tortilla. The fried chicken and lake perch are addictive. Delicious. From the luncheon menu to dinner menu,I have loved everything on the menu. Would recommend Teibel' Family Restaurant to everyone.

I normally order the famous perch, but today tried the walleye. It was served as I have never seen before. I asked the server if these two very small pieces of fish were walleye, and she said that's how they have been serving it lately! My two companions had the perch which were larger and more on their plates than my small pieces of walleye! I am unhappy, but will go back and never order walleye again!

Decorated beautifully for the season inside and outside. Wait staff was ok, seemed to be more focused on the other end of the table for our party of 9. Plenty of parking. Wasn't handicapped accessible entrance, there were stairs. I ordered walleye pike, presentation fair, food rather bland and unseasoned. Not sure I can recommend this restaurant. Perhaps banquets here are better.

Teibel's food is exceptionally good. Both my friend and I had the yellow perch for dinner. Can't describe how good they were. They didn't have garlic mashed potatoes on the menu but I simply asked if they could make some. And they did. If you've forgotten why this place has been famous for maybe 50 years, remind yourself. Go there. And if you go during the Christmas season, look at all the work they put into their decorations. First class all the way.

O.M.G. Had not been to this iconic institution in years. Today: the buttered lake perch and juicy, tender, high quality chicken from Granny Tiebel’s 1929 recipe was AMAZING. That ain’t all: thanks to our server , Hannah B. , service was also excellent! She was attentive, friendly , and totally on top of her game. Thanks yall! Xo
