My wife and I have been going here for years. Excellent food and service! My recommendation would be the filet or the parm encrusted NY strip. Perfect for a date night or special occasion!

This place is FANTASTIC! The food is delectable and the atmosphere is cozy yet sophisticated. The feeling it evokes is like being lazy in the Hamptons. The staff, especially Tiffany, are astounding - so caring, so friendly. You truly feel appreciated. They even make special occasions one for the books with desserts presented with the aesthetic worthy of a Food Network feature. A definite must for those looking for a special outing or even just a dinner with an elevated degree of quality. Check it out - well worth the price!

First I want to say it was such a nice surprise to come here and immediately be reminded of a seafood restaurant I've been to in San Diego CA. You walk in and you are able to see the lake in the background which is enormous.

I came here for my mother in laws birthday dinner and Ryan did an amazing job taking care of us. The place was packed so I'm glad we had a reservation 2 weeks in advanced.

A must try are the crab cakes! I am a lover of crab cakes and these did not disappoint! They have the right amount of spice as well.

Our first time and it was absolutely amazing! They entire staff and above and beyond! Kelli is amazing. She really made sure I enjoyed my birthday as well! Management came around and asked us how we were doing and told me happy birthday as well. The food! OMG nothing short of OUTSTANDING! We definitely will be back again!

We had the BEST service from Alex. Friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. She made sure we were never thirsty and was always on it before we ever needed to ask for anything. Been going to Lighthouse since it opened over 10 years ago. It’s had its ups & downs but I still love my steak and will continue to go. Ask for Alex. ❤️

My family and I ate Lighthouse last night and the food/cocktails were absolutely amazing! Brittany the bartender recommended the cranberry Moscow mule for me and the old fashioned for my fiancé.. we LOVED them! We were celebrating a birthday and both Brittany and our server Blake helped make the night so special! We will definitely be back soon!

One of the best meals in a long time. The Chilean sea bass and blackened grouper was amazing. We had dinner this past Saturday night. Our waiter chase was spot on. We will definitely be back.

Celebrated my husband's Birthday tonight and it was a great experience. Just the two of us and we had a lovely night. Tried a bacon Old Fashion which was quite delicious. We both had the pork chop with a side of Mac & Cheese. Must say the food , drinks and server (Tiffany) were fantastic. Wasn't our first time and definitely will not be our last. That you for a memorable evening.

Went for dinner with the family day after Christmas
on the way out walked by an employee o the restaurant who had terrible body odor. My wife and my son felt like they were going to gag . Found out he's a dishwasher. Won't be eating there again if they let someone like that touch plates glasses and silverware. Worry someone could get sick

Went with family to celebrate my husband's retirement. This place isn't as good as it was originally. Haven't been to it possibly for a couple of years, and every time we have gone in the past maybe 4 years it seems a little worse. I use to LOVE the crabcakes however now they have a lot of filler and less crab. They use to have great garlic mashed potatoes and now they don't. That being said my grandson had an 8 oz. Expensive place but at least the food was good. My fiance had the macadamia crusted walleye and it was cooked perfectly with a nice browned crust. I had the scallops and they didn't have much flavor (though cooked fine) but the white corn grits with the spinach and onions shined so brightly I didn't even care. The decor is OUTRAGEOUS. They go a bit overboard but it's FUN. (It's December, I'm talking Christmas decorations.) I wish I could have walked around and just looked at it all. Explains why a side of mac n cheese is $10... Those decorations must have cost quite a few thousand dollars.

Had the meatloaf special. Absolutely the worst meatloaf I've ever had. Came out a purtid pale oatmeal color, medium warm at best. No taste and consistency that made me think that there was no meat in the meatloaf just filler. The carrots were caramelized on the outside but raw on the inside. The mashed potatoes were barely warm. I could have spent half the money at Cracker Barrel and had a good meatloaf dinner.

Service was good, food was not. Overpriced. I don't know what happened, when this restaurant first opened it was very nice and the food was good. It has study Lee went downhill. Hopefully they make some improvements. They charge way too much money for the quality of food. I think it's all cooked in the microwave.

The Lighthouse was one of my favorite places. Their $18 Waygu burger was one of my all time top 3 places for a burger. Well, now with the low quality menu change adding chicken wings and hot chicken sandwich (shouldn't even be on an upscale restaurant menu.) The burger has changed to 2 patties in which I can only assume they were frozen patties. Ild have to say Rally's has a much better burger for $4. The calamari has gotten so small it more of a snack. I was impressed by the design of the bar in the shape of a boat. The location is wonderful on Cedar Lake. The dinners were good but the portions were a bit disappointing. We ordered the "family" size asparagus platter and received 8 thin small spears that one person would expect as a side for one meal. Just expected more for the price. Overall a good experience with good tasting food.

Not the same place. Don't blame covid because there were plenty of workers. This is a bad management problem and you ruined our wedding anniversary meal.
We had to wait 40 min past our reservation to get finally seated. As we were getting seated we heard they cut off taking walk-ins finally since that was the first issue we noticed was causing long wait times.
We got to our seats and ordered drinks. 25 min later we finally got our drinks and we had to ask for bread when the waiter finally came back. The bread was even bad, super hard and about an inch around in circumference.

What a great find, our party was craving surf and turf and this place had it all. If you make a reservation online you get seated inside but outside is first come first serve and on a beautiful day it's perfect. We frequent this restaurant and have always had a wonderful experience! The staff is polite and courteous. All the dishes on the menu are delicious. Recently we enjoyed dinner under the gazebo with live music. Shout out to the chef and kitchen staff! The Lighthouse never disappoints!

Extremely rude waitresses! But what you can expect..... 14 years old high schoolers...... Cedar Lake ....... Indiana ........ we took what we had .......!!!!!! Shame !!!!! Unfortunately is the only "restaurant" around....... cannot get the reserved table even though we called to reserve... nice !!!!!

Wow! This place was great. We made a reservation and grabbed a drink at the bar when we arrived. The bar staff was amazingly helpful in choosing a wine. We were seated within 5 mins of our reservation. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful in choosing food items and drinks. Our dinner was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and had a great view of the lake. We didn't feel rushed at all considering how busy it was. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the Lighthouse is not as great as I remember it being in past visits. I was here the other night with my family and the menu seemed a lot different. I ordered the burger that is on the menu and the quality was poorer than when I ordered a burger here back in December (not a seafood person so my options were limited). I also asked to not have the secret sauce put on and ended up having to send the burger back because it had the sauce on it. Top notch help from the hostess to the waiter/waitress they where all excellent. We sat on the patio and the weather was awesome. The food was all very good and served hot and fast. It is a very nice restaurant with a great ambiance . would highly recommend.

The Lighthouse has recently changed ownership and it appears to be for the better. The food has always been good and it still is. The service used to be the issue and had been for years. They've raised their game with service for sure. Our server's name was Ryan and he was top notch! Attentive and accurate, quick to get us what we needed. The lobster bisque and fantastic! Stopped in for a quick bite last night and I was really turned off by the cleanliness of the place. Our meal was served on top of the bar, basically over a foot hold from the boat top bar. I would suspect it wasn't cleaned in quite sometime. Asked to speak to the manager and they never bothered to come by.... it's bad enough that the problem was there in the first place, disappointing that they didn't seem to care. Oddly enough, the second we got up they sat another couple at the same place. The food isn't that good people!
