Avoid host Jar gal at this location and other properties in Ouray. This person is an incompetent host, a liar, and cheat. I've wasted enough time trying to convince them to be honorable; no more time to write details in here. Just AVOID this one, and find a responsible person to do business with.

If you're fortunate to read this before renting, or cancel if you can, please heed this warning. Unit #1 is currently listed on Air B-&-B for over $300/nite total price. The problem is this host is totally irresponsible! They soaked the apartment in foul, harsh, nauseating, cleaning chemicals, creating a problem before our arrival. When advised of the problem, the host did nothing but offer excuses and apologies. After frank and lengthy wrangling, the host gave a pittance in "token of apology". We had a very pleasant stay in Cascade 07 during the second week of June. We found the unit just as described on the website. It was very clean, well-equipped, and made for a great home away from home. There were a few minor things that could be improved but we would absolutely consider renting from Alpenglow again.

No shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, or half the things you’d expect. After 2 days of using the 4 towels they gave us in a 3 bedroom unit they wouldn’t give us clean towels. Never seen service this poor. Also would t let us use the hot tub/spring that was onsite even though it’s advertised when you rent the place. How do places like this stay in business? Fascinating.

Although clean I would not stay again. The shower faucet assembly almost came off in my hand The hot water heater was so loud It sounded like someone riding a dirt bike in my room. The attendant who took our keys so was rude. Not even an apology. They were rude when my niece checked in Saying we didn’t have rooms. We didn’t get the rooms we thought we were getting. Overall would not recommend unless they were at least nicer. All they said “the water heaters are new we can’t do anything about that” Oh they also said all the rules, tv usage etc were in the binder in

Rented unit 18 for 5 days of vacation. Worst place ever. Internet sporadic at best. Dish satellite tv won’t work. Can’t get anyone on phone that wants to be bothered to help.
Twin peaks acts as booking agent and they finally responded on 3 rd day.
Exhaust fan in bath doesn’t work
Sink in bath was not holding water but that did get a maintenance man to come work on
Absolutely no way to talk with anyone associated with alpenglow owner so can’t get any help
Find any place else to stay

This rental completely misrepresents itself. The product is old and tied and poorly maintained. The service is untrained and lacks the ability to service, and in some cases, just outright rude. Broken stove, poor functioning TV and HVAC, poor cleaning prior to arrival, plus a bonus of stained blankets with what appeared to be human fluid. We ended up needing to leave a day early to attend to something that came up and were treated harshly by the front desk even though we were paying for the additional night. We reached out to management to share our experience and have not heard back. We will not

We love staying in Ouray because we live so close to it but this is the second time I have stayed at the condos and they are by far the worst beds I have ever slept in if that's what you even want to call it I wish they would get the same beds that are at Twin Peaks lodge because it's extremely uncomfortable and when you're wanting to go hiking and Jeeping while you're there you need a good night rest but you're basically sleeping on box springs the beds constantly make noise I believe they're outdated would love to come back but will not be staying due to how uncomfortable they are

Rented a condo here first week of June. My family, older siblings, girlfriends, and father. Place was clean. Location was convenient. Kitchen was good to have because a lot of restaurants in Ouray close early this time of year. Was a little disapointed the hot tub, and sauna were closed or out of order. would have been nice after a day of hiking and climbing. My brother and dad shared the pull out couch. My bro said he could barely sleep on it. We had unit #11 so be aware of that. Mediocre stay but it fit all our needs for a quick two nighter. I'd probably look elsewhere in the future as I plan
