Our goal is to support the positive growth and development of young children and their families through carefully structured lessons and exploratory play time. Our loving and attentive staff will support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well being of each child in our care. Our carefully planned space features three large classrooms specifically designed for infant, toddler and preschool classes.
Children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow through hands on experiences that meet the developmental needs of each age group. Our indoor studio allows children to experience gross motor play through creative movement, dance, and tumbling. It also provides a space for our school age children to play and socialize.

Our children (ages 9 & 3) have gone to The Little Schoolhouse on Maine for the past 8 years. We love the teachers here and the age appropriate education our children are receiving. We also appreciate the programs like martial arts, swimming, mad science, yoga, etc. that is available. We have had a wonderful experience with The Little Schoolhouse on Maine!

My kids have been with LSHM from pre-k and on for before and after school care. I can't say enough great things about Bekah and her staff and the job that they do! The "one big family" atmosphere fostered by the staff and the added program offerings like swim lessons and Mad Science make for an amazing atmosphere for the kids and put the parents at ease. I can't recommend them enough!

This is HANDS DOWN the best daycare ever. Every single teacher is incredibly kind, loving, and devoted, and my kids absolutely love everyone here! I love this place so much that I called to get on the list as soon as I found out I was pregnant again - I can’t imagine going anywhere else! You won’t find a better place to take care of your little ones :)

I could be a little bias by being a teacher here, but my daughter is so happy here! She loves all the teachers and has so much fun and always comes home with new tricks to show off. I can see that she is learning and enjoying herself, and is well cared for by her teachers during her days here at the little school house and that gives me peace in mind so I can focus on the other littles in my personal care. I am so happy and grateful to be working at such a great facility with great co workers! Thank you all!

If you are looking for a fun, loving group of people who treat your children like they are their own then you have found it. When my children are in their care I don't have any worries, they come home with smiles on their little faces and stories of creative art projects and fun extra curricular activities.
