I came to Kleinfelter's today to pick up an item I won from an online auction. From a customer perspective it was very clear on the items that were being auctioned off and when they would end. The website is nice because you can make a profile linked to your email address and watch items you're interested in without buying them & it's easy to bid on items. The descriptions they put with Lot #s are brief, but to the point. I had the winning bid for some vintage Christmas lights with Santa's which were as advertised and not all the bulbs work, but that was a chance I was willing

Took a year to sell my items always gave excuses. Only sold my items because they were moving to Myerstown and had to clean the back out. Had 5 suvs full of antiques put it all on table lot got very little. Also worker told me he was bidding items up. Found out that on high bid all auctioneers selling on there know your high bid unlike eBay. That’s the program they use from high bid. So if you bid $1,000 and bidding starts at $10 they see that bid and can go on phone or whatever and bid it to $990. No wonder most auctioneers won’t go live now. Took my other antiques to Hess got thousands. Doesn’t

My home sold for much less than the reserve! Auction items were broken by the moving crew because they were unaware of how to disassemble them. The hardware for an antique oak table wasn’t available.Prices of antiques were low because items were sold in lots. Never, never again! I lost allot of money, but they made plenty!

We used Kleinfelter's Auction house to liquidate an estate. At first things went well. They sold a car and a house for us on that Kleinfelter's did a good job and everything went as planned. Next they removed items from the house to bring back to their auction house for the weekly online auction. Here were the problems:
-Kleinfelter's put a little bit in the auction in June, then put some more in a July auction. Kleinfelter's told me they were done with all the items in the house. Luckily I was keeping track of what was sold and what was still left.

5 star customer service. I had an issue with an item purchased. Needless to say, they took care of it immediately. I wasn't passed off to the next person or ignored. I couldn't be happier working with this auction house. We will definitely continue to spend our money with them. 110% satisfied! Thanks!

The staff is great and they help you go through your items and tell you which things you have that are actually worth your while to sell in an auction. I like the fact that you can bring in photos or send photos in by email before you go there so you know what’s best to pack-up before you haul everything there. I really like their staff, they are very family orientated and also have some very knowledgeable antique experts on-hand that are known in the business and they give you an idea what your stuff might be worth before you sell it.

This place is a joke. If they don’t sell your items they get “donated” to a “church” or you can pay $2.00 per item to get your items back. No good for the honest working man. If your selling an estate this outfit isn’t prepared to give you what your items are worth, nor will they promote your items as well as other auction houses in the area. Hopefully this helps future consigner’s !!!
Very displeasing and not too friendly. They don’t even deserve the one star I gave them !!!

Dont even know what to say except "dissapointed" with customer service. I wouldn't consign any items or even dare sell an entire estate through them. Very displeased with my experience on the phone and in person with Kleinfelter's auction house!!! Look into other auction houses, its for your own good. Hopefully this helps other consigners.
