How far is Puu Poa from the Airport? Puu Poa is 30 miles from the airport. It's a pleasant 55 minute drive. From Lihue airport turn right and head north on Kuhio Highway. You'll drive through the towns of Wailua, Kapaa, Anahola, and Kilauea. 1.5 miles after the Princeville Golf Course is the turn off to Princeville.
