The food was good but the reason I’m giving 2 stars is because I saw the chef
Wasn’t wearing any gloves while touching all the food. I saw him walking in and out of the kitchen touching door handles and then just picked up where he left off making sandwiches without washing his hand or wearing any gloves. which is pretty gross.

If you are looking for the Chicago taste, not quite. It tasted like a Philly with no ketchup . It wasn’t gross but it’s just not a Chicago style Italian beef … the onions bell peppers and jalapeños have been boiled and were a soggy texture .. the juice/gravy had no flavor .. which just made the bread soggy for no reason . The meat is cut too thick which made it dry .. and it was small . 4/10 in my book but I will come try more sandwiches

I live right down the street but have neglected to try this place. Finally did and I wasn’t disappointed. I had a cheesesteak, I’m from the mid-Atlantic region and it’s obviously not going to be as good as a cheesesteak from Philly, but it was not bad at all. The sandwiches are kinda on the small side so if you’re super hungry maybe get two?

Overall a solid sandwich spot. I got the chicago style italian beef and meatball sub.
The italian beef doesnt compare to actual chicago italian beefs. No giardiniera and the bread wasnt sopping wet from au jus. It was okay for what it was though.
I did enjoy the meatball sub more than the beef. Meatballs were super soft and not dry at all. Good amount of sauce and cheese.
Bread overall was good too. Light with a little bit of chew. Would definitely order from here again.

If you have the ability to unhinge your jaw that will come in handy when you eat here. There's sandwiches, burgers, and hotdogs are just massive. On top of that everything is absolutely delicious. Everything is cooked to order hot and fresh.
today I had the Brooklyn meets Philly sandwich along with a pushcart hot dog and they were both absolutely amazing. Anytime I'm in the area of Burleson road this is my absolute go to place for lunch
