Services
Together, our team offers over a hundred years of combined experience serving families in the Valley that are going through the loss of a loved one.

From the coordination of meaningful funeral events, arranging for necessary items and much more, helping navigate the State's requirements for Title 19 planning, and guidance with "picking up the pieces" after a loss, we have the experience and professional expertise to help families through this most difficult time.
The Riverview Funeral Home opened its doors in July of 1968. It's owner, 28 year old Joseph A. Pagliaro, had been born and raised in Shelton. His father, Frank Pagliaro, Sr., was the owner of Frank's Peoples Market, which had served the Shelton community for over 40 years and through the great depression.
When it comes time to care for a deceased loved one, you may feel overwhelmed and confused about the next steps and options. Our funeral home staff members are here and ready to help. Whether you'd like a funeral or a more creative celebration of life, we can assist you to select the funeral service options that hold the most meaning for you and your family.
Opened in 1968, the Riverview Funeral Home has stayed in the same location but undergone several renovations over the years to provide our community with a comfortable setting that meets their needs for what can be the most difficult of times. We offer two tasteful parlors for public wakes and funeral services.
Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
